I don't know man. My phone and internet is acting a fool. Either way, getting back to the RDX valvetrain, there's a video floating around YouTube where Honda of America(?) put the top end of the k23 on an 07 or 08 SI with the snail and all, and pulled decent numbers. They made it like a factory turbocharged k20. The only thing that wasn't factory was the FMIC. I don't know the specifics of it because there aren't any photos of the engine bay to validate the video.

My coffee maker died yesterday and I'm kinda pissed about it. It's less than a year old and is under warranty. Here's what pisses me off. I've called more than once about other problems and they kept giving me the "have you descaled it?" question, which is absolute bullshit. So, I called them yesterday when it just went dead. My description to their customer service person (I will not give them the respect to call them technical support) was literally: "it does not power on, I made sure the outlet works, and tried another outlet". They wanted to transfer me to their "specialist", but couldn't because there weren't any available, so I was told that I would get a call back on Monday. So I get a call today (Sunday), then get transferred to a "specialist" after explaining my problem ALL OVER AGAIN, and this chick asks me if I've descaled the fucking thing and if I've been using filtered water. Now, I will admit that I don't know everything about this damn coffee maker, but basic logic tells me that if it doesn't turn on, filtered water and descaling won't make a bit of difference. They were nice and all, but sometimes I'd prefer a little bit of common sense to give me some faith in these people actually knowing what they're doing. :end rant:

HP (worst company in america) Want's 250 to fix my lap top that has a known issue, and is one month out of extended warranty! Currently shopping for something new although there is a guy locally that says he can repair it for $100 os I might go that route.

Funny you mention HP Mike. My mother in law's HP laptop died not long ago. After diagnosing it, turns out that the motherboard took a shit. Guess how much HP wants for their proprietary motherboard. Just as much as it would be to buy a new one. About $400.

I'm going with either a Toshiba (preferably a Qusimo) or a Macbook. I'm really looking hard at the Toshiba I've read a few independent reliability surveys and they ranked Toshiba and Asus above Apple which I was surprised by. How old was the HP laptop Z? They extended the warranties on a lot of there stuff but, if you don't specifically mention the extended warranty they ignore that fact. If its not more than a few years old check out the link.

Really? A MacBook? I always assumed that you were more of a Windows guy and weren't interested in a Mac. I guess I was wrong.

I am more of a windows guy but, I'm not against trying something new. The other option I guess is to buy a netbook and run the Google Chrome OS.

I've heard good shit about the Google Chrome OS but I don't think they're going to release it on it's own. I know they plan on running it on the new netbooks they're releasing though. My only problem with the bare bones netbook/ OS is that you'd have to be connected to the net to do anything. If you don't have net connection, you're fucked.

I really only use my laptop to surf the net so it sort of works in my situation. I might rip the HP apart and shove a penny under the GPU and see if it helps. Worst case scenario is that it catches fire.
