I guess they're calling in the National Guard here in MA and declared a state of emergency because of all the rain and flooding.  I had to take a detour into work today because I didn't want to travel through a questionable area.  On an unhappier note, I just activated blackberry #6 and it was fucking up 5 minutes later.  I'm ready to punch a Verizon employee in the face for their lack of support.  The fucking manager at the store was trying to convince me to not come in to have the store transfer my contacts, and told me it would be $20 to have the store do it if I can do it on my computer.  Even though I have a software issue with my ring tones and every time I connect it to my computer it creates duplicate contacts.  I'm so fucking done with Verizon.  I could care less about them getting the iPhone.  It's time to see if AT&T has the same shitty customer service.

I've never had an issue with AT&T's customer service Tim. They've been good to me the whole time I've been with them. Whenever I had an issue with a shit phone or something else, they fixed the problem without hassle. Make the change man if you've had this much shit with Verizon.

No comment. Personally I've had issues with both of those companies but, I think it has more to do with the area you live in with AT&T. Verizon just seems like a bunch of control freaks to me. They look everything down, and when you call for help with something they suck to deal with. I'm going to have to be really careful driving home this afternoon I saw a river flowing out of the woods onto 146 this morning so I'm sure its only increased. RI has also declared a state of emergency. From what I've heard whole sections of road are under water.

First off, I'm going to say that because I've had to deal with all the shitty phones Verizon carries, I can say that I have noticed a decline in their technical support and their customer service.  It just keeps getting worse and worse as time progresses.  I hate going to the store at the mall on the way home from work.  The people that work in that store are arrogant and rude.  Maybe it's because most of the people in MA are a bunch of cock munching asswipes, or maybe that store is full of a bunch of degenerate assholes that enjoy treating their customers like shit.  I am going to make sure that I call customer service back and let them know that I am very unhappy with that store in particular.

The reasons why I stay with Verizon is because I get a 15% discount through work on phones and my bill, everyone in my circle of friends and family have Verizon, and coverage in my area is better than other services.  My sister in law works for Verizon and has been telling me for the last 6 months about the iPhone.  Even though the guy at the store always says it's a lie, I'm convinced that those pickle sniffers purposely lie to their customers.  I'm ready to go back there, lay out the manager, kick in their display, and lodge my piece of shit phone in one of their walls.

I've noticed a decline in customer service every where. A lot of the problem is that companies don't want to compensate there good employees in these positions so the turn over is astounding.  Remember when you could go into a store like Home Depot and ask a question, and the guy actually knew what you were talking about. now its just some kid that probably doesn't know the difference between a door and a window.

Verizon does have shit customer service. Back when my dad got the verizon dsl Internet service, it worked about a week, then it took a shit. He spoke to like 5 different people, and they didn't know what the fuck went wrong. After about 2 weeks of arguing back and forth, they finally figured out that some fuckwad at Verizon messed with the service for my dad's house, fucking it all over. They're so goddamn unorganized that they don't even know what their employees are changing around on their services.

Side note: I fucking hate safari on the iPod touch/iPhone.

That is true.  There are a lot of companies that treat their customers like shit.  I say it shouldn't be accepted.  Being in customer service and supporting tech products, I can say that I expect a higher level of service.  Unfortunately, 99% of the companies out there do not provide that.  Yet, we just take it and do nothing about it.  There is no accountability for companies that treat their cusomers like garbage once they have cash in hand.  I say, if a company's customer service sucks, they should be boycotted.  That's why I tell people when I have good and bad experiences.

today i was thinking how weird it is be in the northwest, and pretty much nothing mother nature wise happens. i mean in florida you have hurricanes, mid-west tornadoes, and north east major snow storms/ flooding. i wouldnt know what the fuck to do in any of those situations, when i visited nebraska they had a tornado warning i was told "ahh its not a big deal"
just weird how nothing like that happens here.

I saw on the news that rescue workers were using jet ski's to help people get out of their homes.  As far as the northwest, you guys have rain.  Sure it's not that eventful, but the dreary weather would make me want to slice my fucking wrists.
