Just so you know Jeff, Computer Engineering is hard as crap. I never had a problem in high school when it came to getting good grades; they kept telling me it's going to be hard. I didn't realize it was going to be this hard though. I am not trying to discourage you from doing it, because I actually really like my major, even though it is really hard, but just be warned that you're going to have to work your ass off.
I'd have to say anything with engineering in the title is a hard major. I struggled through school, and got A's in high school while sleeping and skipping class... I got a rude wake up call my freshman year of college.

Totally. I can make farts and bleep noises with a computer. That's a marketable skill.

In computer engineering one starts at the hardware aspect of a machine and moves up to binary then to advanced languages, basically as a job Computer Engineers would be designing circuit for an iphone, a video card, making processors. Computer Science major, start from the advanced languages and basically stay there for the most part, their job include software and programming companies.

It varies by school... Generally the people designing circuits are Electrical Engineers, and the people developing the integrated circuits(chips), and micro processors are computer engineers.

I guess he has money to burn. I'd rather waste my money on parts that actually make my car faster, hookers, and drugs. Fucking amateurs. :
