Ummmm. Basically you run a program that rewrites the scripts in the iPhones OS. I just unlocks all the capabilities of the phone that both AT&T and Apple block.

Im going to say no to Verizon because they dont use sim cards, but I am not sure. I would be willing to bet that you could maybe use their towers but pay AT&T. Im not sure about the other networks either. I am sure it is possible because you can buy unlocked iPhones, they are very expensive though.

Also, why would anyone want a 3G when there's the 3GS and rumors of the 4G coming out this summer? I have a 3G but when I bought mine, it was the latest and greatest.

I wounldn't want any of them.. They are all shit until they end that exclusive agreement with AT&T. The technology is hand cuffed by the network, and thats sad. I honestly think the Google Nexus One is the best phone on the market right now but, it's going to force Apple to come over the top which is a good thing.
