So, my friend and I took out his mom's 2010 335i convertible for a night and all I can say is Oh my god! The exhaust notes coming from that thing! That is really the only thing that impressed my but I just wasnt expecting that. It didnt seem really fast even with 300hp. It also looks great. Just thought I would share. I dont think I ever want a bmw though.

That's because BMW's are over engineered vehicles that make many people think they're race car drivers when they really aren't and the owners become snub nosed pricks as soon as they take delivery of those heavy over engineered piles and don't really just look at them as well manufactured machines like an automotive enthusiast would. They take it as a status symbol and shun everyone around them if they don't also own a piece of German engineering. I say fuck those pompous pricks and their dumb ass status symbols. I'd run every single one of them off the road just out of spite.

I don't know that a 3 series can be considered a status symbol they really are in the same class as a TL or RL.

Have any of you guys driven an M3? SICK!!!...
I grew up with B'mers, Mercedes, etc...reason...good, reliable, well built cars. Not everyone uses them as an excuse to be pompus, they were that way before they got the car...the car is just fuel to the fire!

I guess things change because my family not me because i'm 18 have had horrible experience with BMW, Jag, and mb. We had a 5 series, S550, and three Jag XJ8s and they were all terrible. My friends parents have already had trouble with that convertible too and they just got it last year.Now, we our luxury brand of choice is Lexus and we have been problem free since.

yeah, Im 32, when I was 8-18 they were different cars IMO...although, they were notorious for being really expensive to repair. I think I heard somewhere though that now alot of them are offering free maintenance
