I think most of you know I'm trying to sell my car, it's in the paper/online/etc. Well I just got a call from a random guy wanting to take over payments or just pay a little at a time. I am totally against this for obvious reasons. Well my coworker is giving me shit for not going through with the deal. Just wanting some opinions.

If you are going to do this get a lawyer to write up a contract for you. It will cost you some money but, at least you will have something legally binding that can hold up in court. Just include the legal fees in the cost of the car if you decide to go this route.

I wouldn't do it. Seems to be more of a headache if it's a total stranger.

Thx Mike/Tim. That's my thoughts as well. I would rather sit back and wait for someone (who can get a loan) to buy it. Don't want to hassle with a lawyer, too much time and money wasted.

Good call Jeremy. My uncle had done this years ago with his EK. The guy that took over payments flaked and my uncle took it back. The car went back and forth until he finally sold it outright. Wasn't a pleasant experience.

It's going I've had a rough couple of day's but, it's going. Work has been a bit taxing the last week or so I really need to find a way to slow down a bit.

Only way to slow down is to take vacation Mike lol. It's actually slow over here for once. Only because everyone and their brother went on the ship today. It's out to sea, again. Maybe nothing will break this time.

Hey guys, I know I'm going to look like an idiot for asking this, but should I be worried if I forgot to put anti-seize on the alternator pulley when I put my Ralco ones on? Someone on V6P said that their alternator pulley seized within a month, but I don't see how that can happen unless the pulley seizes while you're trying to take it off. As far as I know, I don't plan on taking them off in a lonnng time. Thanks.
