How often do alignments to the wheels need to be made? I noticed that while driving home from football practice today on the highway, there was a slight shudder at high speeds. When I got home, I checked the tire pressure, and all of them were at 35. I figured there wasn't really much left to do, so I just looked straight down at each tire, and it *seems* like the back tires are aiming inward just a tad (i forgot what's called in auto terms). Now, I don't know if this is my imagination or not, but I was just curious at how long alignments last. I've got 44k right now. If need be, I can go back to Tires Plus in the next week or two and get an alignment check to see what's up.

Also, another thing. I got a "recommended service" paper when I got the tires done. It says that I should get a "fuel system tuneup" totaling to $96.29. I thought that was strange, because lately I've noticed that if I push it at about half throttle, I'll notice the RPMs go up, drop 100, then keep going up, then drop another 100, for about a half second, then it'll stop. Think maybe it was bad gas, or just a coincidence?

Alignments can be thrown off as soon as you leave the shop if you hit a huge bump or pothole so there's no real specified time.  I just go for feel, it I feel it pull to the left or right and it's not tire pressure or a balance issue then I'll get an alignment.  For instance I havent had an alignment in almost a year and a half granted I've barely put any miles on the car in that time but I'll actually be getting one today.

From what I remember our cars do run a little negitive camber in the rear from the factory maybe this is what you are seeing.
