Do the tune up yourself and save your money.

What exactly does a "tune-up" consist of nowadays? I know that it's changed drastically over the years with the new technology in these cars... (I've never done a tune-up at all; this is my first car
)

Well, since I'm not sure if lilmalu is using the metric system, I'll cover a broad spectrum.
I would:
- replace the engine air filter (or clean it if it's aftermarket)
- replace the cabin air filter
- check the serpentine belt (and replace if necessary)
- drain, flush, and refill the cooling system
- flush brake fluid
- flush clutch fluid
- change the ATF or MTF
- do a LOF
- replace the spark plugs

Guys is there a difference between a bumper and a bumper cover? I see alot of listings on ebay but for a bumper cover... I plan on doing an 06-07 front conversion soon and I am looking into getting the parts. I just want to know if there is a difference because it looks the same to me. Thanks

Billy, what they call bumper cover is what we call bumper. bumper is metal front part of the car, and that big cosmetic thing is bumper cover

The pullies are pretty easy to do except for busting the crank loose which is why most people end up taking it to a shop.

The crank pulley is a PITA if you don’t have the tools to get off…

OEM, or Pulstar. Everything else I have used did nothing but make the engine run poorer. Pulstar will probably net you a miniscule gain, but they ain't worth the $$ buddy.

The OEM plugs are NGK so I'm assuming they are available places other than the dealer?
