Word. I keep 2x4s in my truck at ALL times. I am not going to need them anymore pretty soon since I am going back to a conventional lowered suspension though.

For a Mild drop, 2" of clearance should be enough.  It's very rare that I ever need to use more than one set of 2x4's.
