the receiver is from 04 so i dont think they make it any more, but the one listed on ebay is 79.

Have you called Denon yet? The reason why I ask this is because I work for an audio company and we sell remotes for systems that we stopped selling 15 years ago.

You could always get a multi-function remote. I have a Logitech Harmony universal remote for the equipment in my bedroom. It controls, receiver, tv, dvd, lights, etc. I am really happy with it. We recently got a URC MX980 and I hate it. Just another option...

The Logitech Harmony remotes are really good universal remotes. There are a few different versions ranging from $89 to $499. I talk to a lot of people that use those Logitech remotes, and know they are very popular and a pretty good product. Don't overlook it because it's a "universal" remote.

I use a Logitech Harmony 360 and I love it. Controls the xbox 360 as well as other devices.
