I see what happened. Why does he park there anyway? You'd figure he'd park somewhere that he wouldn't have that sort of thing happen, know what I mean? As for the water inside the car, shop vac the hell out of it, pull out anything you can to dry in the sun, and hope it doesn't reek afterwards.

I have no clue why he parks there. I guess he just never though it would flood. I would think that too, especially looking at that picture. I pretty much shopvaced the hell out of it. Water was overflowing out of my shop vac haha then put towels with weights on top of them to soak up anything else. I hung up his floor mats too. I think it will be fine. He is coming home tonight, so I figure we will take it to a detailer Monday.

It really wasn't that bad, at least from what I could tell. Like I said earlier the water receded before I got there. So, all I saw was the after math. It only flooded the driver side. The passenger side was dry.

That's not bad at all. I guess since you already pulled the mats and hit it with a shop vac, just leave the windows open for it to air out and call it good.

A flood like that would make me rip the carpet out and replace it. If it's worse, I would probably sell the car..

TGIF. let the weekend begin. im exhausted form this week! but i still have to work half day tomorrow, but at least monday is a holiday!

I saw my old car earlier today. I was driving and thought to myself, that's a fresh ass Accord! then I proceeded to realize, "oh shit, that's my old car".
I wish I kept it.

Bill, I have had water in my ccar before too, like whn my wife leaves the sunroof open...I crack the windows, put a dehumidifier in and a box fan to circulate the air...works like a charm...

I've been sick as shit all weekend but forcing myself to sit in the pool, figured chlorine would help lol...Well decided again to give up on the mazda. I found an 06 Ody. Used cars have become scarce lately. But I found a cheap Ody so I'm jumping on it, I'll just have to pay two notes while I try and sell her car. wish me luck.

Whew! I'm exhausted! It was quite a busy weekend..
I had to put my car back together, go to a housewarming, go downtown to celebrate a friend's birthday, got up at 6am (after going to bed at 3am) today to bring my car to show it at Extreme Autofest, went to church, went home and burned a CD, went back to Extreme Autofest until it was over at 6, went to get some boba, and then now i'm home and eating dinner..
I'm exhausted!
