Well, it's the same as last week.  Another night of not being able to sleep because my neighbor is drunk and wants to crank the tunes.  I put up with loud music from about 9:00 pm (when I got home) until now.  Sad to say that I had to ask the police come out again.  After the screaming match I heard last night (before the police showed up) between her and my other neighbor, I knew that I was not going to confront her and ask her to turn the music down.  I just hope my lanlords have her out of here soon.  I know she's already been to court and should be evicted soon, but I'm just sick and tired of the random creepy dudes hanging around and her getting mean and loud when she's drunk.

I'm taking half a day today, leaving around 12 and going to eat with my baby (she's getting pampered today, haircut/colored/the works) and then maybe go home and chill out for the rest of the day. Painting will commence on Saturday morning and will end Sunday night.

I'd have to agree with Z on this one man... You should keep the pet names out of large groups of male friends. It's great to call her nice things but, it’s only going to bring ridicule here.

FWIW, I avoid her like the plague.  I do not talk to her and I do not approach her about anything.  I first spoke to my lanlords about her, and they said to just call the cops so it would help them build a case to have her evicted.  The police are very nice when I have called them about her, considering it has only been noise complaints so far.  I know this may seem a bit insensitive and dickish, but based on the reactions she has had with my other neighbor (which are violent, loud, and always involve the police), I have decided to go with an indirect approach to avoid problems.  This woman does not seem to be very good at non-violent conflict resolution.

It's not insensitive at all. Alcoholism is bad, and I assume that’s what you’re dealing with here. You cannot take a direct approach with someone like this because they are irrational and don't care who they harm. I had a family member that passed away about a year ago that suffered with this, and I’ve dealt with it from that perspective..

I've thankfully never had to deal with that but could possibly deal with it in the future thanks to me saying so.

On another note, anyone been over on g7a lately and noticed that a few of our ideas have been used over there?
