Well, I've been at this job coming up on year 4 and I've never gotten the day after Thanksgiving off.  This year I got an extra special treat and they told me that I have to come in on my day off because it's the day "after" Christmas and New Years day.  I hate having to go into work when the rest of the people in your company get the fucking day off.

Well, I joined a Maxima forum to attempt to diagnose a suspension noise that my sister is having with her car. The first post I read they were bad mouthing Honda people. Does anyone know what could be causing a squeaking noise coming from the front of the car. When you turn or go over a bump, it squeaks. I'm not sure if the suspension set up is at all similar, but maybe this problem is caused by a common problem. From what I have read on here, I need to check the endlinks but maybe there is something else that could be causing this. Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds good, but this thread isn't really meant to be for technical discussion.  I would recommend that you take the time to contact Thien.  Of anyone on here, I would say he is one of the more knowledgeable people when it comes to other manufacturers.  He works for Firestone and can probably provide a little more information than we can based on the amount of experience he has.

Yeah Sorry about the technical thread. I originally posted because i was like wtf about the honda hating but then I figured why the hell not ask you guys, I value yalls opinion more than theirs. Well, to counter the maxima statement I'll say this. I joined a Lexus forum, mainly because my family is one big group of Lexus nuts, and I have read several comments saying that 7gen accords are better in some aspects, ex the nav system. There were also posts of people complimenting Acura and considering switching. I love Lexus like my family but I thought this comments were interesting. I still like this forum better too.

I think it could be the fact that it's a more mature crowd.  I can see the good points in other manufacturers products.  It's kinda hard to say that Honda is the best and only car out there.  I think that's an ignorant attitude.

I see an attitude like that more with domestic owners than say a Honda or Toyota owner. That forum is HUGE. It covers all Lexus models. There arent many modded cars either, more of a problem resolution forum I guess. That is probably due to the more mature members too.
