Fixed the shrouds at my boy's house In SoCal and swapped my DDM 5000k d2s bulbs with Phillips 85122's. All I can say is I'm loving the output and I'm even happier with my retro revision now that the shrouds are secure.

Installed my CT short shifter the other day, holy shit what a difference! Next on the list is the slave cylinder check valve delete, and maybe then it will shift like a car should shift!

I knew you'd like that short shifter. Now cut down your stock shift lever and rethread it for an even shorter throw.
Back OT, I made the front of my car a bug killing warzone. Bill, Jeremy, I'm heading in you guys' direction. Hit me up if you wanna meet up or something.

Tried to get my PLX devices to work the way they're supposed to. Instead, shit just got worse. I'm waiting for a reply from PLX as to why they're not working, when they worked before. Yeah, I'm motherfucking pissed.

Wheels balanced and rotated. Got rid of that retarded steering wheel shaking at 50+ mph.

Bought some Mobil1 5W30 motor oil and a PureONE filter, and also put on a new license plate protector, since the old one turned yellow from the sun. Not sure why I buy them, but they look nice.
Edit: Changed the oil.

Took my car for a drive today and noticed a big unusual rattle. I think it could the upper have o that shield on the catalytlc converter. I noticed when I installed the header that my cat was pretty rotted and that the upper shield was seperated at the front barely hanging on and when my mechanic put the torch to it he probably made it worse. Can I rip it off for now?

Misha, what kind of sealant do you put on the wheels? I just got some Colonite 845 insulator wax, would that be sufficient?

Those shields rot and rust so easily and made the oddest noises... believe me I know from experience. I'm pretty sure you can take it off and toss it.

+1 on figuring out what Misha uses as a sealant. I need something better than Wet Paint to protect the lip on my rims.
