Changed my oil, fixed a wiring issue, and thanks to access to a lift and air tools.....took apart my entire exhaust system, angle ground all the joints, replaced all gaskets, and put it back together. No more leaks FTMFW!

Made a custom floor mat to keep shit from getting on the carpet mat. Not the thickest material, but it works. It's only a prototype; I may figure out other ways for making it not slide as much. It doesn't slide at all forward to back because of the grommets, but it shifts about a quarter inch from side to side, like when getting in and out of the car.
If anyone's interested, and if I figure out any better designs, I could produce them for ECM members. Up to you guys, though.

What's it made out of Bill? Looks pretty thin, is it durable?

Damn you Jeremy! Looks good Jeff. Is this a seasonal thing or do you plan on always having it in?
I cleaned out the inside of my car and messed with the back seat a little more. I just need to get that last bolster cover in.

I guess he has money to burn. I'd rather waste my money on parts that actually make my car faster, hookers, and drugs. Fucking amateurs. :

I'm not entirely sure what the material is made of, but my family's business states it as being "breathable ground mat material", so go figure, lol. It may not be the best solution, since it has holes in the material, but I think the threading is tight enough to not be a problem. I just wanted to make something better than the shitty walmart mats I previously had. They would slip and slide all over the goddamn place. At least with the custom one I made, it can't go anywhere. As far as durability goes, it's pretty damn strong. There's no way I could just try ripping it in half with my bare hands.
I'm thinking about attaching a second layer to make it thicker and heavier, and help with keeping shit from going through the holes. The only downside to this mat is that water can seep through it, so I've got to think of something to do about that. I could just put the shitty walmart mat inbetween the OEM carpet mat and the custom mat, just for added protection. Like I said, it's only a prototype. I'd like to make it suitable for staying in the car through all seasons.

If you're making a custom mat, why put the carpet mat underneath it? You might as well make your own all-weather mat.

Mark's got a point. On another note, those 55w HIDs I threw in earlier are fucking bright even with the smoked lenses! I can't imagine the kind of light I'd put down if my lenses were clear.

I have never seen the point in those mats other than being seasonal. They might as well be dirty than covered with a fugly, compare to OEM, floormat. Floor mats were made to protect the carpet now we have protectors for the protector. I don't have anything on mine and they stay clean with a weekly vacume and occasional spot cleaning. To each his own though.
