.. I replaced my Panasonic CR 1616 3V battery for my key today for
FREE
!..
It's a piece of cake right Rolo....
Back OT: I cleaned my ride today, installed a new reverse decal across my windshield of EliteCM.net, this way my wipers don't get lifted alittle and not clean my windshield the proper way! I also polished my chrome trim as well. Damn that sh*t was dirty from everyday build up. What a difference!

I shortened my shift lever by 1 1/4" so my Hurst shifter sits lower.
do you have short shifter?
Well, it is shorter. Just not shorter throws. I already grind the piss out of second when I drive "spiritedly". I'm afraid that if I put a short shift kit in there I'll shift even faster than I already do and destroy my synchros.

i think it would help with your shifting since you would be able to get into second gear faster with less through so it should help with not grinding your gears

Its possible. But I also have a shit ton of OEM flex. No ETD or anything like that. I did do that washer mod on the shift cable, and that improved the grinding, but it still gives me the occasional.

Z, I don't know about the 5mt's, but the 6mt's have a TSB for a 3rd gear grinding issue. I suggest you check if they have something for the 5mt's. The reason I mention this is I've noticed a few people complaining about a 2nd gear issue with the 5mt's.

I guess he has money to burn. I'd rather waste my money on parts that actually make my car faster, hookers, and drugs. Fucking amateurs. :

Good info Arie, but I've noticed the 2nd gear slight grind on every Manual tranny I've ever driven. Maybe I'm too hard on them. It just seems to me because I'm shifting faster than the synchros are working. But it also only happens during "spirited" driving. Though, I may be due for a tranny fluid swap anyway.

That statement should end with FML.
