There's a couple things I need to do before I share pictures. It still looks like hell but it's getting better. Pressure washer accident fucked up some of the paint when I took off the plastidip a couple months ago.

opened up 2 started and started to clean and grease the shit out of them. I can't be believe I been through 3 starters in less than a year. First the OEM one on my car had issues with clicking and not turning the car over. Then I ordered one from DB electronics and the first one when out in a few weeks/months ago. Started to have issue with it doing no start, but okay after I hit it with a hammer. Called DB electronics and they sent me a new one pretty quick. Now the new one is doing no start after being heat soaked.... Even when I hit it with a hammer...
So I am starting to think that the solenoids that controller the starter are just crap. I think I am just going to buy a brand new denso. I don't think the starters will last long after the turbo gets put in. Engine bay heat is extreme

Better get some heat shielding for it Ken.
Spent some time getting the motor together over the past few days. I lapped the valves, cc'd the combustion chambers, assembled the head and motor. I was able to test fit the blower and everything clears. Now it's time to make some upper mounts for the new radiator and replace 6th gear in the transmission and get it all back together.

Well the turbo install has turned into a cluster fuck.
Bad day. Tons of **** had to be fabricated and it wasn't direct plug and play. I am soo pissed right now.
need to add new SS clutch line because the turbo was hitting the hard lines. Also had to pull the stock vacuum line.
oil pan went off easy and had the new bung welded
Oil cooler won't work because it hangs a little too low.
Oil Feed line install.
Paul suggest to use this intercooler
chop my intercool to make it fit
Oil pan finally work!
turbo Test mounted

Good progress Ken. Gotta take these things in stride. Like i said, you're always going to get those "gotcha" when taking on these projects. Imagine doing all this yourself
