Good evening, Southern gents.

How's everyone?

So, I was reading some articles about vintage hot rods, customs, and show car prototypes.
More traditional period salt lake race inspired rods are built.  And the SoCal style of wild paint jobs with flake and scallops have steadily grown in popularity.
But one thing they always alluded is that the East coast cared more about going fast and had more engine builders.

I'm trying to rep Chattanooga and the South in general.  But as a Southern gentleman, what do you personify as a Dixie fried ride?
What kind of style would you say is "SOUTHERN"?

Rebel flags are too easy.  Dig deeper.  Now discuss.

Pipes, a whip, mud tires, cow bells hanging from your hitch, and 20 Browning stickers <--- said with strong country accent

I guess he has money to burn.  I'd rather waste my money on parts that actually make my car faster, hookers, and drugs.  Fucking amateurs.   :Smiley

I think it is hard to pinpoint it for an import car.  But if you can find it, by all accounts enlighten us.

JOHNNY!!!!!!  Keep busting ass, brah!!!!

Since our resident P.W. is on vacation and/or doesn't love us anymore, I thought I could introduce some fire.

When I think of Southern heritage and motoring, the first images are of open wheel buckets thrashing it out on mud track ovals.  When I think about all that mud slingin', I think of vintage NASCAR, moonshine runners, and police chases on gravel backroads full of ruts the size of your head.  Junior Johnson and the like.

Then stuff like this pops:
http://www.moparmusclemagazine.com/featuredvehicles/b_body/mopp_0605_1968_dodge_charger/index.html

It's a lot to take in.  So, I'll need to start small.
I want to Mossy Oak my rear window and weld in a gun rack into a roll bar.  My Accord is a cruiser...after all.

NOW DISCUSS or disgust.  Whatever.

bright red, with preset UGA stickers/mossyoak/NRA.
large brushgaurd, for plowing through them dere's.
at least 35" tires. with pro comp wheels. ball sack from the hitch.
