The new sig looks tits dude. And winter mode looks pretty good for OEM 16s.
thanx man it took me 30mins just to make a new sig pic. luckily i had help from my bro. such a newbie when it comes to computers. i love my "black" oem rims! i have to re do them tho. i was thinking about getting professionally power coated. z how do you prep your rims for paint. i shouldve sanded them down, i know that. but all i did was clean them up with rubbing alcohol and painted them. lol i didint even tape up the tires or anything. lolol

I scuffed the piss out of them with a red scotchbrite pad and put down about one can per wheel. Came out to be about 4 coats front and back. I also used the "wheel paint" from Autozone. I think Duplicolor makes it.

Paint has to have something to grip onto. Therefore you need to sand them down. If you did this and cleared them, they would last through many winters.
Damn Z, beat me to it.

Not sure about tools but
this thread
and
this thread
both talk about how the stock belt is supposed to work but doesn't. The first link has a little more discussion on the belt size but both have good info.

Damn. It seems like they are worth the money for the gains you get. But I'm going to have to live with the excessive noise?

I have yet to figure out a solution to my noise. Dave either. I've pretty much given up, lol. The closest I've gotten was spraying lubricant on the P/S pulley and having the noise go away for the next 5 minutes, then come straight back.
