^ Yeah it seems like you can use it like a spray wax.

Hey Rick, I was just thinking, I'm about to get our rims out of storage to put them back on. So of course I'm gonna clean em up first. I was wondering if and how well the Finish Kare 425 would work on the rims especially because of it's anti-static qualities. I was thinking it could possibly keep down brake dust a lil, even though we dont get much anyway anything and every lil thing helps.

It may help but it would have to be used quite often. If given the choice I would use WP, the wheels get just as slick as paint does and are very easy to clean when needed. Try both and see which works best for you. Either way I would use WP first on the barrels and the exterior "showy" side.

I was clueless as to the number of applications Finish Kare 425 could be used for I will by purchasing this asap. On the vehicle exterior you just use it as like a "mist, and wipe"?

That is correct and quality microfiber towels are a must. Some of the things I use it for (which is why I get it by the gallon) are:
1. Car
a. paint
b. glass.
c. black plastic
d. chrome or chromed/plastic
e. clear cover over speedo/stereo
2. reading glasses
3. furniture
4. plasma/laptop screens/regular TV screens
5. mirrors/glass doors

.........and more. That's all I could think of at the moment, there's more but my old fart brain is refusing to work today.

Are the Surf City products good? I was looking on the internet, because no stores in Tupelo sell them, and it is really expensive compared to other products. I dont mind paying the extra cost, but will it be worth it?

you should view the detailing threads posted by Jason (Deepgloss) and the results speak for themselves.

Mike actually posted a thread about their products a few weeks ago.  They just started selling their stuff in normal auto retail stores like Pep Boys and Advanced Auto parts so it's a lil easier to try their products now that you dont have to order online unless your area was left out.  I actually picked up some of their Dash Away last weekend even though I've yet to use it and I need to get some of their leather stuff(Voodoo or something like that).

The product just became available at the stores in my area yesterday. So they are probably coming to your area. I bought and used the dash away for the first time yesterday, and I was very impressed. I also picked up some of there tire product.

I checked every Autozone, Advanced Auto Parts, and O'Reillys in my area a little while after Mike started that thread. This was a total of six stores, my town sucks so we probably won't get any. I'll probably just go ahead and order it online. Have any of you used the dirt catcher that goes at the bottom of the bucket? It sounds like it would work well, so I might order that as well.

My rims have been powder coated matte black.  Can I use any wheel cleaner on them?  Don't want to mess these up if I can help it.

I'd just use regular soap and water.

As would I, with soft cloths as opposed to brushes of any type.

Hey, I know some of you guys have used Surf City Garage products before.  I'm curious as to what you guys think about them.  They recently started selling them at a store near me and I'm thinking of grabbing some of their products. I need some opinions before I go buy some.
