I'm thinking about doing the same setup. All I would need is 06-07 grille and bumper? Can an 03-05 lip be modded to fit 06-07 bumper?

Sorry to bump an old thread but there arent many front end conversion threads. I'll have to check and see if the 7.5s use the same shade of red. Where would you guys reccommend buying from? Ebay would probably be the cheapest.

I've actually already got an 03-05 lip, had it for years lol Just need the 7.5g bumper/grille!


2006 uses the same color - not sure about 2007. Redondo Red Pearl ftw!  :thumbup:

That's where I got my bumper cover from when I did my conversion. I ordered it and had it in the same week and there were no fitment problems. Looks OEM.

Billy, you can still get the 03-05 oem front lip from bernardiparts.com. They don't have all the colors but it shouldn't cost much to have it color matched. I had my whole front end painted for $200

That's not a bad price Steve. It was $120 including shipping. Shipping was more than the bumper!

yea shipping was more expensive for me too, but you cant beat the price. On Bernardiparts.com it is 201 for just the bumper and that is not including shipping...

And you could probably get a decent shop to paint the bumper for $100 bucks, you had the whole front clip painted for $200?

I actually just called a really good shop I know of and they will charge $400-$500 to paint the bumper only! Because my paint is a 3-stage paint FML

Doesnt Majestic sell their bumpers pre-pained for around $220?
