Back in June I detailed the Accord with the Gold Class Liquid Wax. When I installed the HL bulbs I noticed the hood had some tar and tree sap so I decided to fix it.

I did the same process as before: Cleaner Wax, NXT and then after I used the Deep Crystal. To my surprise, that one, cheaper than Gold Class, lock the shine and the hood looks like out of the factory (shops are for damaged cars Wink )

See it for your self...

Interesting. Obviously you can tell since you did the details and are standing right there for the results. However IMO for us to see a real difference it would have to be pics of comparable enviroments meaning either both would have to be in the garage or both outside. Cuz I know I just detailed our car this past weekend and it looks 10 times better and cleaner in the garage than it did when I had finished working on it outside and I thought it looked prettty damn good outside.

initial look is important but how long wax will last/protect your paint is probably major factor. it might look good but how long will it last? simple way to check is wash car every month or so and see if there is beads on it. if there isnt then wax is gone
