After giving this some thought and talking with other friends. A cheap ($10k<) car might not be the way to go, sure its cheaper but what about maintaining it. That will ultimately cost more. I’m toying with the idea of getting a CPO TL - $23-$25k or a type-s for $26k (bwhwhahaha). Srsly though, it would be about $100 more a month but with bumper to bumper going out to 62k+ miles this might be a better option, if I keep it that is.

Jer, did Honda pay for that trans to be replaced...I just caught up and didn't see whether it was them or you...you basically just said it was getting replaced.

Get yourself a big ass Crown Vic or something...you're tall, so it's decent room...actually not as much leg room as in accord...but dependable and a comfortable ass ride

Why the hell are all used cars $10k with 100k+ miles on them? When did this happen? Damn the used car market!!  Flippa!


Looks like I'll be sucking it up and buying a CPO Acura (08 TL or 09 TSX, maybe an 08 TL-S if I can justify the pricetag). Wish me luck

Stop jinxing him Nelson. Jer, make a deal and stick with it already. I think you should get yourself an 03-05 Redondo Red sedan as that one stayed in your possesion the longest. This time, make it a 5spd so you won't have to deal with the headache of the autotragic.
