you should really add a 1/3 of bottle of the seafoam to the gas tank, the intake, and in the oil fill, using a total of one bottle then change your oil about 500 miles later. this would have the greatest effect.
Can I do it strickly to my gas tank
and not the intake, and in the oil fill?

You could pour it strictly into your gas tank. Follow the directions on the bottle though. It won't clean out as well as a direct feed to your intake tract, though.

I've always used the BG stuff for cleaning out injectors and fuel system. I wanna say Paul at some point said that he wouldnt use Seafoam but I can seem to remember why. I was hoping he would've posted in this thread by now but I'll try and get ahold of him to see what he says.

Here's what he had to say
Quote from: "NVA-AV6"
The problem with seafoam is when you use it , it does its job very well, losens up ALL the carbon and crud, including the stuff in the intake, this hard cruddy material then has to pass thru your cylinders on it's way out and then can clog cats and score up cylinder walls, the stuff doesn't just vaporize.....

i could imagine that being the case and another reason not to use seafoam on high mileage vehicles. under the 90K or 75K recommendation i would think any amount of carbon passing through the cylinders wouldnt be enough to clog anything
