Minus a post here or there, I have been pretty much MIA for a while now. I have become a lurker. I read through the new posts each day, but my time is so freaking limited, that I barely post up, unless there is some downtime, which I have not had much of.

But I came to a conclusion...

For those of you who know me, outside the forums, you probably know I am a work-a-holic. No, not because my engine bay looks cleaner then new cars sitting in the showroom, because I literally spend more time at my career, then I do with friends and family.

Due to recent events (yes, still employed) I have come to realize that I cannot make work, my only or even my number one focus. I am probably older then the average age on the boards here and not getting younger, time to enjoy and live life, away from work.

Therefore, I am hoping to have more energy and be more active on the forums. I am hoping to attend the upcoming FLCM event on 8.1 in Daytona, I am hoping to clean my engine bay again (It has been more then 4 months since the last time I even opened the hood and I am not joking about that).

It feels good to be back! Yes - I still have the Porsche and weather permitting, I will drive that to the 8.1 meet!!!

As cool as the Porsche is, I say bring the CM. We'll need all the CMs we can get so it doesn't look like a CB7 meet with a guest appearance from some CMs.

No shit. Dave better be there! Looks like I'll have to stop in Orlando and force Skip to come. Idk where's he's been. I saw him a couple weeks ago when we went to the Orlando gun show, but I haven't seen him on here.

Anyway, we definitely need to figure out what hotel we're staying at. The gf and I will get our own room, but we'll stay in the same hotel for sure. I think the one from last year was Tropical something....

Here's the website for the hotel we stayed at last time. Rooms are a little expensive I guess. It would be $139 + tax per night for the same size room we had last time (two beds and a fold-out couch). $125 + Tax if we have AAA.

Let's get a plan going. Whether we take the same place or stay somewhere else, we should establish something now because it is coming up quick. Seems like we have Sean, Phillysteve, JT, and myself so far....

Well, the thing is, I'd be getting my own room with the gf, so you guys will be splitting another room without me. Sorry that doesn't help your money situation, but I know she wouldn't have it any other way ;-)

I talked to Skip and he normally has work all day Saturdays. He said he'd try to get it off, but he does need the money and he may not make the actual meet. He will, however be joining us Saturday night no matter what.

Hopefully Phillysteve and Sean (Rusty) will post up soon and fill us in on their situation.
