Few weeks ago New Orleans got about 4" of rain in 1 hour. Most of the city streets flooded and almost flooded my car.  The street went from wet to what you see in roughly 40 minutes....I was asleep on a Sunday morning at 8am.  Tiny bit of water got in the floor of the passenger side...nothing my wet/dry vac couldn't fix.

yeah, car is fine. I pulled about a glass worth of water from the front carpet.  Shitty thing is that spot is right in front of my house....but its a low spot in the road.  I've started parking on the other side of the street when the weather predicts heavy rain.

There is a low spot in Nola? Well, that sucks man. It's good that it wasn't too bad. Something not to dissimilar happened to my Dad recently.

Haha...whole damn city is a low spot! I've thought about trading in the accord for a truck many, many times.
