Martha's Vineyard...

Going there next week for a mini-vaca with the wifey...rugrat is staying with family,yeah!  Anyone ever been there?  I have a buddy who is a chef out there during the summer season, and then winters in Florida at their other restaurant on Sanibel Island.  I plan on driving, don't know how much of a pain in the ass it's going to be driving around there though.

I've been there.  My ex gf took me there to a bed and breakfast for my birthday one year.  What a bad idea that was.  The Vineyard sucks in the winter time because nobody is there.  It was so fucking boring.  The summer is going to be a completely different issue though.  It should be a bunch of fun.  Let me know when you're taking the boat over.  Maybe I can come down and meet up with you.

Its nice but, I feel that EVERYTHING is over priced. I prefer Block Island to the Vineyard for that one reason. It's not a bad place to visit though!

Sounds good, would you take the boat over to the island you mean, or meet before hand?  Right now we are going to be playing it by ear, it looks like the end of next week is going to be shitty weather...

I probably wouldn't take the ferry over, because I really don't feel like going to the Vineyard.  If you want to meet up somewhere before taking the ferry over, maybe grab breakfast or lunch, that would be cool.
