Lol guys I have big plans for this car. When it comes to my cars I seldomly cheap out. No fake wheels, I'm actually looking at TE37SL and even the spoon hardtop but that's...$5k lol. So this car will stay stock for a good good while. I have no problem with that as I like it how it is for now.
I've always dreamt of owning one of these so I finally decided to bite and get one. I have never driven one before nor have I ever driven a RWD sports car. I have to say it's a night and day difference from an AV6 6MT! The clutch is amazing! I got a 2006 so it had DBW. I was expecting it to rev hang like the Accord but it doesn't even! Rev matching and double clutching is easy. It's such a blast to drive. I planned to keep it as a garage queen but I'm having a hard time, as I find myself making excuses to go drive it!
Yeah, it was a toss up between these and retros. I'm glad I went the Inspire route. I'm sure an equally priced retro will perform better but I don't think enough to make me wanna switch. JDM FTW!, said every Fanboy
Post pics when you can bro. I bet you're excited about the inspires. When I got mine on I could not stop looking at them while turned on, hell I still do even now!
I've had that happen before with plastic lenses. Those Nokya bulbs get pretty hot. Your best bet is to go back to glass lenses if you want to use those bulbs.
S Yeah they do. I held a sheet of lexan to a flame and it didn't seem to be affected. I want to avoid the glass lense as mine broke within two days of installation. If this doesn't workout I'll go back to halogen bulbs and use yellow polycarbonate sheets
Okay guys, the seller that I bought my inspires from threw in a set of what I am assuming are nokya h11 55w yellow bulbs. Has anyone replaced their fog light glass lense with polycarbonate and is running those bulbs? I used lexan and it literally melted it...
I had this problem and it was gone when my clutch was replaced. Correct me if I am wrong but another possibility could be the springs in the pressure plate gone bad?
