Hey read the whole How-To but still have a question...

Did you swap any of the arms that hold the knuckles in place or just the knuckles? If not then that will make things fairly simple, also would you recommend an impact wrench?

i feel your pain.... When i attend shows people look at me like WTF is that car doing here...  Little do they know i have mods on my car that are actually useful.

It's not that i have not tried to see what the others are talking about.  Ive had 20's, stickers, etc but what the fuck for?  I drive my CM5 daily on some of the worst road in nYc so i dont need to slam my car because it looks good.  I dont want no fucking 20's on my car because the ride sucks and you have to drive 25mph every where you go. However, i do want a Yakima roof rack with basket because i have no trunk space what so ever.

Voltage Squad - Straight Bumpin Bitch!

i'm in the same boat. im trying to get a roof rack now because i can't put anything in my trunk because of the subwoofer box and amps. but unless i'm going to use it to carry a bike or two around in the spring/summer i'm going to only have it on for the winter to carry my snowboard.

to the OP: i want your wheels! lol and good job sticking to what you think looks good. the stretched tire/really low offset wheels isn't exactly the best thing for your car if you drive on the daily. car's lookin good!!!

my car was washed two weeks ago and then after the wash i applied some Megs NXT 2.0 and then after that I applied some Megs Gold Class. it definitely helps i'm just trying to find ways to further reduce the amount of pollen that sticks to the car. I've done the quick detailer to remove the pollen but i'm waiting to get some poorboys S&W right now. i'm thinking i'll order the FK1 and give it a shot.

you'll be able to notice it. my dads valves on his Z28 clicked on cold start ups and it was very noticeable.

i did one with some Valeo D2S hid projectors. since these pictures i've taken the step out of the cut off for a flat cut off, painted everything flat black, re aligned the drivers side projector, and heat formed lexan covers for them. the lexan has messed up the output slightly but it still works like a charm! paired with rx330 projector headlights...amazing output lol

13  Electrical / Audio Systems / Re: Audio/Video Q&A Thread on: January 10, 2010, 12:59:23 PM
i'll give that a shot. and i'll have to get the voltage tested for the battery...no idea how old the thing is.

edit: messed around with the ground, put it in a new spot. no help. switched around the RCA's and got nothing. forgot to switch the speaker wires though...i'll try that tomorrow. any other suggestions?
14  Electrical / Audio Systems / Re: Audio/Video Q&A Thread on: January 10, 2010, 10:55:53 AM
i have no clue where to put this question/dont want to start a new thread but i did 2 parts of the big three upgrade (upgraded the ground with thicker gauge wire, and added a thicker gauge wire from the alternator to the + terminal on the battery, still need to upgrade the grounds from the engine). now the problem is i'm getting some crackling noise in the right door component speaker and i'm assuming it's coming from wire from the alternator to the + terminal on the battery. so i took that wire off of the alternator and the battery and the car has no power after hooking the old wire to the alternator, literally nothing.

is it safe to say i need a new battery? and anyother ideas of where this crackling could be coming from?

my set up is:
alpinie ida-x200 h/u
hifonics 440x4 amp
polk audio db components up front
infinity reference 6x9's in the rear

i re-ran the RCA's up the center of the car just incase, that calmed the crackling noise but it's still there. power wires are on the left door sill along with the turn on wire, speaker wires on the right door sill, ground is good for the amp.
15  K Series Performance / Bolt Ons / Re: How To: Install Headers on: January 08, 2010, 10:55:36 AM
for those who do this install and have the issue with the o2 sensor wires being too short to reach the new hole, you can extend the wires using butt connectors(i think?). my brother just installed an X-Pipe on his mustang gt and needed to extend his o2 sensors and he did it that way. so far no CEL.
