LOL nope I haven't done it before... this is the first car that I've ever attempted any DIY's on (it's the first car that's actually mine). From Paul's post it seems this should not be something that I try as a first engine work DIY either. Damn, I guess this is going into a shop... mod plans must now be delayed.
That looks awesome Billy. I really hope I can join in on the fun if you guys decide to have one next year. Book a few days off work and make my way south of the border
LOL I have no engine lift... this will have to be taken to a shop I think. Just google mapped and it's a 9hr drive down to Leesburg so def can't do that any time soon.
Night and day man. The Fed-ex guy dropped it off when I was setting up our new lawn mower in the garage. Lawn mower was immediately abandoned and sway bar installed. lol
Yea, I was speaking with a friend tonight at our meet and he says the PITA is having to remove the tranny in order to change the seal. Guess I'll be burning a hole in my wallet for this one... unless I just keep topping up oil and wait to do a MT swap??? >
Damn.. I know you're the one to go to for this so when the day comes I will be hitting you up. Do you know if it would be significantly less if we could find a 6-speed from another Accord?
So after reading through the thread I realized that Paul's post with the AT-MT swap was either edited or deleted because it's just a blank post for me. Also, I know this is terribly old but I am very curious as to what type of costs would be involved in doing this tranny swap?
