This is a list with pictures of the lip kit, body kit, hoods, trunks, and other exterior accessories. This is a reference guide to help you decide on which kit to get. I hope this helps out anyone with their decisions. I will update whenever I stumble across more exterior parts.

Thien, you should also identify which lip kits will only fit the ASEAN Accord/JDM Inspire for the people that don't know any better.

Sure thing Tim. I will get on it right now.

would it be possible to get approved vendors of these kits? theres a few kits ive got my eyes on but like what Tim said, i want to know if its for our accords or now. i'd very much appreciate the hard work and effort.

Sorry, nobody is "approved" by us as a vendor.  You should consider researching the company you plan on buying from before you make a purchase.

Sorry, didnt mean to say "vendor" but sites you guys have used to buy lip kits. But thanks Tim for clearing up my previous statement. Ive been searching for the Erebuni kit and came across this website http://www.bbtcustoms.com/erboki20on4d.html (http://www.bbtcustoms.com/erboki20on4d.html) but havent found any reviews. Even ran a BBB on them and they have a low grade because no one has written a review about them.

Is the 06 - 07 HFP lip kit a direct fit on the 03 - 05 coupes?

I don't think its a direct fit but its been made to work. Should be much easier than it is for us sedan guys.

It is not a direct fit. It takes some time, effort, and a little elbow grease to get this to fit. I personally have the 06-07 rear lip on my 03. My pics are lurking everywhere. There are gaps in certain area that I have to redo. It will take quite of bit of double sided tape.

Looks like its been modded a lot more than the conventional modding people do. You also gotta take into consideration that the guy didn't even mount his fogs properly.

That's the OEM optional. Good luck finding one of those. They haven't been in production for almost 10 years. What's fucked up, up until last summer, my wife was driving one of those and I could've compared both rear bumpers side to side. Also, I'm sure you know that the one on the Accord is originally meant for the coupe.

That RO_JA rear bumper gets sexier every time I see it.  Has anyone seen a picture of the VIS "Techno-R" CF hood on a coupe? On VIS' site its listed now as the "Terminator" series, with a coupe and sedan model available but I have yet to see one on an actual coupe.

Wings west makes a rear lip for the TL that looks very similar to the oem acura one.

i might have to inquire about that one. I still need to measure the TL bumper to see if the length and sides are similiar. don't want to buy and play around with it if the sides are too short

I gotta revive this.  Have looked at a lot of the rear lip options, and the thread is pretty old so I'm not sure if new options are available.  But anyway, I'm looking for a rear lip for an 03-05 sedan that only has ONE exhaust cutout and not two since I'm only single exhaust.  Any options at all?

mugen replica on ebay

Title: Re: The Body Kit and Lip Kit Guide
Post by: timot_one on February 22, 2013, 01:03:12 AM
You're probably only going to get reps and not so great aftermarket ones. If you're lucky, you may be able to find a used Modulo rear lip, but I'm pretty sure it has two exhaust cut outs.

Title: Re: The Body Kit and Lip Kit Guide
Post by: CrackerTeg on February 22, 2013, 09:04:58 AM
Duey and Tim are right. IIRC, most of the lips that are still in existence have dual cutouts. There ARE some out there with single cutouts but not many.

Title: Re: The Body Kit and Lip Kit Guide

Might have to get one cutout filled in then, and painted over.  Bah.

You'll probably need to paint whatever lip you buy anyway, so filling in a cutout shouldn't cost that much extra.

I have the mugen replica rear lip sitting in my garage right now, waiting til next week to start work on it to fit it on my 07 its a little short on my bumper but luckily i have my mud gaurds to fill up the gap. I have some dremeling to do to make it fit, also have to dremel out the second opening for my exhaust since i have a v6

you will need some fabricating on it for 7.5 v6. I had to dremel out the second exhaust opening, i will probably need to cut half of the oem rear bumper because the mugen rep lip has a little indentation in the middle of the lip that makes the lip stick out a little i will have to see. Other than that the lip fits perfect i probably wont have to use the rear mud guards to cover the gap.

i'm looking more for the replica, since not having the oem doesn't really matter to me. VIS Also sells it as a complete rear bumper so no need to cut the old one and swear when adding the lip.

Just got confirmation from VIS that the Techno-R or Terminator CF hood has been DISCONTINUED for the Coupes.  Apparently the dumbasses in the design department never bothered to check fitment before going into production and after getting 7 of them sent back due to "fitment" issues (aka they shipped out Sedan hoods to Coupe owners) they apparently just said Fuck It and decided to discontinue the Coupe model.

Still on their website, but I have the email from their Marketing Director telling me it is no longer available.  Just FYI.

i used to have a Business Account with them and they move a lot more volume than say Seibon, simply because everyone wants Carbon Fiber, but wants it cheaper yet still pretty good quality

probably something to do w/having all parts come from China and the time and delay. a lot faster nowadays but VIS Racing is usually an overall good company to work with

Is there a guide anywhere for fitting an 03 coupe lip on an 06 coupe?

From what I remember it requires some minimal cutting. Don't remember how much. Looking for guidance one what tool would be best used to do the cutting.

I'm not aware of how much needs to be cut.  I think it's pretty simple where you will need to test fit and slowly trim certain areas around the lower grill opening.  Do you have the 03 coupe front lip?

Nope, just getting impatient with an 06-07 lip showing up on the market somewhere

Gotcha.  Just wondering.  Good luck with whatever you find.  I know it's been done, but I've never owned a coupe, so I don't have any experience with fitting that lip.

Paulius, I have an 03 front lip on an 06 coupe bumper. It needs some trimming on either side, like this. (https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170502/3c0072b82bbdf406e816832ac110ebe6.jpg)

Anyone know what the part numbers for the 06-07 coupe lip hardware are. I finally found a brand spanking new lip, but it didn't come with hardware.

See hardware below:

I thought the hardware came included when purchased from Honda? I've had difficulty getting hardware that works

Yeah, the guy I bought it from didn't have it, looks like I'll be making various trips to hardware store. Just dropped it off to get painted now :)
