Title: Airbag light on
Post by: striktlyaccord on October 01, 2017, 11:42:10 AM
Took the car out yesterday after some lengthy dormancy in the garage again, and noticed that the airbag light is constant on now (little red person with red circle in front of it).  Not sure what happened.  Any common issues known, and fixes?  Add this with the current A/C issues and old bone creaks, and this car is starting to fall apart.

I would check the dealer. That might be covered for free being that it's a safety issue. Check your vin if it's on the takata recall list for airbags.

^ about 87k.  And I think I had already took the car in years ago for an airbag, or seat belt sensor recall.  But I drove the car this weekend and the light was off.  Weird.

Oddly enough my Ford trucks do this every now and then. The light will come on and then be off the next time I drive it. Fucking gremlins I tell you!
