Title: Gas/brake pedal vibration/weirdness.
Post by: Nit3h4wk C0uP3 on November 24, 2014, 12:52:14 PM
After talking with a friend and realizing this may not be normal I jumped online. Found some truck/Benz threads with similar issues but there were no solutions.

So when traveling with my foot on the gas, and I hit a bump, the gas pedal will vibrate. No vibrations on acceleration. Only when I hit a hole or bump in the road. I've replaced all mounts (engine and transmission) last year. I recently put used winter tires with steelies on the car. 2 of them have slight camber wear and were put in the rear. I suspect I may be due for an alignment, but I'm not sure what could be causing this.

Also, not sure if this is normal either, but if I hold the brake pedal down and tap the steering wheel I can feel it in my foot. I can also feel the windshield wipers in the pedals.

Any thoughts? I had the car in for a safety check on Nov 8th and they didn't find anything.

Now that I'm thinking about, I think my car does the same thing...
