I think #16 is the best combination of looks and being robust enough to withstand weathering effects at the same time. Seems it would make polishing and waxing your car easier as well since the letters are connected and the lines are thick

eh not a big fan of line under. I'd be extremely happy with #28 on my sideskirt.

Obviously, we'd have to keep the more popular ones to choose from. Not a bad idea though.

There's no reason at all why we can't have more than one decal design.  I think it's a great idea.

I really like cursive, not he color though. The only bad thing about cursive is the fact that the letters will be a little bit small causing them to not want to last as long.

Why not? The guy I get mine made in houston (and the supplier for g7a in general) doesn't care about how many fonts there are. Just Colors.

2 Doesn't look bad either

2 & 5 are the only ones that look halfway decent because the CM is in caps.  If the entire thing is in caps, it looks like just one big word like ELITECM.  

i keep thinking ELI TECH when i see it in caps - like im trying to rep a software company or something... esp with that font.

are we limited to these font choices for a reason?  i've got some alt fonts that i can play around with.

i dont know what colors my friend has. im sure he got all kinds since he works at decal shop and i seen his car with gold stickers all over it on black si and it looked good. but still waiting on email back. i know he is busy right now, send him text last night and he said he will get back to me soon

sorry for the delay - ive got a couple of new designs laid out.  they're more of a graffitti style logo, which i thought looked pretty good.  ill post them up when i get home tonight

Sounds good Justin.  I tried a few graffitti style fonts and just didn't like them.  For some reason, graffitti fonts just don't fit the theme of us being "elite" enthusiasts.

it needs to be simple and last long. so no cursive like banner and no graffiti stuff

yes thats what i asked him and thats quote he gave me. im sure not all decals will need to be serialized
i told him that screen names will have to be half the font size of main decal. is that about right?

That’s a great price Misha because the guy I use wanted $10.00 per and I would have to order at least 12 to start with.

E C and M would probably have to be different colors since it would not work on Red car, black for example

Ya I guess it's called gold. I havent decided on all gold or gray and gold yet. Each decal shop has their own different version of the color gold so I'm not sure, but when Tim made the last G7A decals for us it was a perfect match to my car. Like some gold metallic. It even had or looked like it had gold flakes in it, but that just could've been my imagination on that.

Ok, so I haven't fixed my scanner so the pics a little blurry, this is the sketch I came up with. I also thought of making the font a little smaller to fit the entire web address in there, and I also thought of doing some sort of circular design with the lettering, surrounding the car outline in the middle. Z, I saw the old decal on FB and I really like the use of red...

Let me see if I can find the old logo with the profile of the coupe and sedan.  I loved the design of those.  I think if we have the E in Elite stand out because it is normally capitalized, we should do the same with the C and M also.  Definitely good work Denny.  I hope I'm not being too critical, but I'm just super nit picky about it because lettering is something I've always paid close attention to from my graffiti days.

Hey there's some awesome graffiti out there! Lol Don't feel bad about criticism, I spent 5 years having my work torn apart by a professor and classmates so I can take the hits :) I agree, lettering is very important :)

I'm down for a decal as well.  I agree with Tim; the E and CM should be more "announced".  I like the more simple designs, so just lettering would be good for me.  Looking forward to the progression on this :thumbsup:

I like it with the main letters being a different color so they "pop". Also, like Ryan said, if the "C" were a little more open that would look real good. It would definitely look better with the sedan silhouette. IJS.

Good work Denny.  I like the coupe designs a lot.  The font really looks good too.  I agree with opening up the C so you know what it is.  Now that I see the design that we've talked about over PM, the front wheel just doesn't seem to work with the design.  I think the lettering should take priority over the wheels.  Maybe just have the bottom of the front and rear wheels showing, like the lettering is sitting on top of it.  When you're more comfortable with your perfection of the sedan outline, please post the coupe and sedan designs in one post so we can see them side by side.

You got it, I'll try those suggestions and see what it looks like.. I left the sedan pictures at work (DOH!) so I'll bring them home tomorrow and get crack-a-lackin.. lol
