Title: radio/clock not turning off Post by: status on April 02, 2010, 10:57:42 PM so the problem is, is i turn my car off turn the key all the way and remove it. and then clock screen goes off. then 20 seconds later it will turn on, 5-15 sec later turns off and continues. all of this while the key is out of the ignition. the over head light stays off no other lights turn on. ive tried getting out and locking the car and it still does it. i have a stock head unit. only upgrade i have audio would be the sub that uses a interface? to connect to the unit. could it be a fuse? i really really hope its not the ignition.

Title: Re: radio/clock not turning off Post by: status on March 14, 2013, 01:14:11 AM So after this crap happening for years killing two batteries, I talked to some mechanics in Portland and they said its actually a common thing that happens it our model accords. Only wise solution is to go after market and also get the metra kit. Only reason I'm bumping this ancient thread is incase anyone in the future has this problem. This should be the solution. I upgraded to the stupid metra kit and also grabbed a alpine ubt 42. Just a digital media player. And its been awesome.
