Well I know we gonna be passing thru the city (Piero's neck of the woods) to get to the hutchinson river pkwy (Kevin's neck of the woods) then head to Sterling, MA (Timmmmmmay area). Maybe add a map from google too Kev to see where our paths would cross.

Tim actually messaged me earlier on Yahoo. We didn't talk much though since I was driving.

I've been meaning to try and get a hold of ESP this week, but have been way too busy to remember.  I will try to get a time confirmed tomorrow because I need to call the shop about some parts anyway.

Got final word on the time for the Dyno Meet.  You NYC guys are going to love this one.  The dyno day starts at 9:00 AM in Sterling, MA.  I would recommend that you guys meet up at 5:00 AM and leave no later than 5:30 AM to get here in time.  I'm sure you can show up a little bit late, since we will start with the cars that are already there and a few of us local guys will probably hit the dyno first.

Okay Kev put on your thinking cap and tell us where to meet & what time.

I'm sure it would be cool if you guys showed up at 10:00, but I wouldn't want anyone missing out if they showed up late.  The best-laid plans of mice and men often go awry.  There will be someone that meets up in NY late or something may happen on the road up here, so make sure to plan ahead of time.  Trust me when I say this, but shit will happen to make you guys late.

Looks like it'll be a 5 AM meetup and ride out, I got no problem with the early morning times, but im not sure about anyone else.  I'm up at 5:30 most days anyways (I don't sleep much, really)

Hey, what route would you guys be taking 95 to 91 to 84 to 90? If you take 95 you'll be going through bridgeport... I'll meet you guys at the rest stop close to the new haven area.
If you catch 84 in NY then I will have to meet you guys somewhere outside of hartford. Let me know.

Damn. I don't think the wife and kids are going to be too happy with that hour. Thing of it is, I've got an extra 1.5 hours of traveling just to get in on this caravan. Me thinks I need to let the missus know and see what she wants to do. i may be riding solo.

good lawd 5 am...I guess I gotta go to bed early for that one. At least we shouldnt meet up with alot of traffic at that time. I think we're gonna be on the CT-15 most of the ride to the I-91 to the I-84.

I'm up everyday at 5 to work, no prob for me, definitely wanna be there to see the dyno so lets get the ball rollin' on this one.
Us BK cats can meet at Toys R Us at 5am, roll out to Kev and meet anyone else along the way, note to everyone, we gotta keep in touch by cell to get ourselves
together so I recommend we give all our #'s to Kev via PM that way there won't be any confusion as to "I didn't see you go by" or "I was waiting for you guys at the corner
by the gas station and you didn't show" and so on.
Let us know if that's ok with you Kev (Blue Thunder) LOL.

Or we can do 95-91-84, I need to plot this out on a map to see what the best route to take would be...Regardless, getting to me around 6 AM would be a good idea.

I usually hit 15 when I come down to NY.  It's a lot faster.

Ya Kev either route is about the same amount of miles, the 95 and the 15 both run parallel to each other. We just wont have to pay tolls when taking the 15 which means less stops waiting for those with EZ pass and those paying with cash.

Hey guys, one question:

No matter what, this meet is happening rain or shine.

Its at a shop, rain shouldn't matter anyways, maybe not the greatest for photo opportunities, but usually by June the weather settles down.

Unfortunately, I just got word that I may not be in town the weekend of June 6th, I'll know definitively on Wednesday, but there is an extremely important conference that is getting pushed up to that week in CA and I may be forced to attend.  I'll still do all I can to organize for this in the mean time, I'm gonna be reallyb ummed if I can't make this :\

Wow talk about having to break night...  Okay I'll see because that is early!!!!  I would have to go to sleep at 9pm to be up at that time or stay out all night but I would perfer not too since I'm driving alone.  I would hate to fall asleep.  Who is staying over night?let me know becuase if anyone is staying I may too.  That way I don't have to worry about taking that drive that same night.

Yo P. I'm going to be waking up even earlier so I can meet up with you guys. Its still up in the air whether the fam comes with me. If they come with me, I'm staying the night. If they don't come with me because of the hour, I'll be heading back the same day. If that ends up being the case, you and I can mini caravan back.

If I had room, I'd let guys crash at my place.  Unfortunately, I don't.  There are a lot of hotels that are near me that shouldn't cost too much to spend the night at.

It ends whenever you guys want to go back to NYC.  After the dyno at the shop, we can go out for a cruise for rolling shots, we can go for ice cream, or whatever.

I tend to stay up if I’m following someone... Last time out I followed Steve and the trip was a breeze, we left Tim’s place like at 2am and got into the city by 5am

Like I said in "our" thread, the wif and spawn are riding too. Can't wait for this shit! BTW, how many other significant others and/ or kids going?

Significant other will be staying home, shes not huge into the auto club stuff (though she did come for Hot Import Nights, and had fun), no she will be using my house, pool and grill to entertain her friends from Auburn who she went to college with who are up for the weekend (Also means I will probably get 2 hours of sleep the night before since the two of them are staying overnight).  Boys day out for me!!!!!!

I could only be so lucky. Its all good. It gets the fam out of the house and it makes them meet other people. Besides, the BBQ should be more of a family oriented thing anyway. The dyno is purely us though.

I hate to say this, but I'm not gonna be able to make it out on Sat. I gotta go to FL next week and won't be getting back to NY till Sat night  . I hope this doesn't affect the list to do the dyno.

Im still in, im just not gonna be in the caravan, something about getting on the road at 5am doesnt sit well with me. My sisters place is only about an hour from the shop. Ill see you guys up there.

Repost from the actual meet thread.  Here's the list that we have so far.  If it's not accurate, let me know.  At this point, we only have 6 or 7 people that will dyno their cars.  I am undecided on whether I want to dyno my car right now because of some stuff that's been going on.  At this point, we don't have enough people to do the dyno meet because we need 10 cars.

We are trying to meetup around my area at about 8:30 AM.  Drive is roughly 3 hours 10 mins according to mapquest/google maps (should be about 3 if there is minimal traffic.)

I know Arie is in, I know Jonathan and Dave are still in.  I believe that Rich from CT is in too.

I know Chino, Piero, Steve are out...

So who from the island is still going? Or what time are the brooklyn/queens guys meeting up? and where so we can meet up with Kev.

As Mentioned in the NYCM thread, I will NOT be doing the AM Caravan, I will be rolling up by myself a bit later in the morning because I want my accord for an accord meet, and it will be done some time between 11 and 12 Sat morning, My Mechanic assured me of such.   I AM STILL GOING, for the record, but Its better if you guys pick a meetup spot and stick to an early AM plan.  Again I am still going I just can't do the 8:30 caravan and have my car ready, its one or the other!

Piero, base on your route I will be waiting for you guys at the rest stop between exit 40&41 on i95 It's a few miles from the i91 merger and won't require getting off the highway, just pull in pull out. If you're on the road by 9am, traveling 75-80mph, you should be there around 10:15-10:30. I'll be there with hazards flashing. Piero I'll pm you my #

I've got a question for the "caravaners." Do any of you guys have little two way radios? I figured its a quick way of any of us to get a hold of someone in the line if something came up. I've used it when my wife and I drove both our cars cross country in our moves and it worked out great for us. What do you guys think?

wheres nextel direct connect when you need it...

Nextel would be the way but I kicked them a while back.  What I could offer is to bring 3 to 4 radios from the theater with me for our use.  They will be better than any radioshack toys we buy.

I just wish everyone was coming to this meet because it's kind of going to be one of the biggest North East Meet this summer. Unless....  We do it again somewhere in the middle.

I'm not sure if I'm driving back to westchester or meeting my friends later that night in New Paltz, NY, either way its around a 3 hour drive, so I guess it depends if I want to go home on Sunday or Saturday night.

Looks like the weather is going to be crappy on my prep day tomorrow. I might have to see how early my car wash opens Saturday morning.

I will be driving back on  Saturday, got some things to take care of that i pushed back from Saturday.

Rich, I am going to enter your rendezvous location into my GPS just in case.  I would hate to end up on a different road while you’re waiting on the caravan to roll by.   GPS’s have a tendency to redirect if you happen to miss an exit so I rather play it safe.

yeah, that rest area is the easiest for everyone and its in the direction we're headed. you guys can get breakfast there if u want also.

There's a cheap motel down the street from me, but I wouldn't stay there.  There are however a TON of hotels that aren't too far from my place.  Here's a list.

I have heard that there are the most bars per square mile in the state where I live.  Just walk in any direction from my place and you will find one.  One thing that I will request is that there be no drinking during the meet.

Ok fellas, I'm all set...I just picked up a few items for the BBQ so we can still grilling as soon we get there. I also have my wash schedule for 8am in the morning right after I pick up my new phone. Then it's off to the rest stop.
