Title: request: online flower delivery services Post by: mnkyman on May 04, 2009, 02:38:56 PM Can anyone recommend a online flower delivery service with prices that aren't outrageous...
I want to send my mom and grandma a dozen red roses a piece, but most sites (ie: 1800flowers.com) charge 80+...thats insane... I would buy and hand deliver them, but i'm 150 miles away and in the middle of finals lol... i called their customer service once (i NEVER do that) to complain and their answer? they sent me a $10 gift certificate (from a screwed up $40 order) when the cheapest thing on their website was like $25. i still would have had to pay just to use the gift certificate!! never again. They have commericals on stern and theres some sort of special if you type 100 in the promotional box in the upper right corner of the site.

They're prices are always good, flowers always arrive pristine, on time and at the correct location. Cant say enough good things about them. I just sent something to a lady-friend about a month ago....she was very happy. I'm pretty sure they come in a box.

Ashley just texted me though and said that they come in a really nice box. No clue how they keep em alive. I guess they have local distributors all over the place. |
