Title: Super easy way to get rid of lint Post by: Paulius005 on April 14, 2009, 09:34:42 PM http://www.pledge.com/fabric-sweeper/ (http://www.pledge.com/fabric-sweeper/)
Ok, if there is one thing I do not like about my car it is that it has a black upholstery that is basically a lint magnet. I used to spend hours vacuuming and removing then vacuuming and removing the lint, over and over again until it was all gone. However, about a week from then it would be basically the same and all that hard work was only good for a few days. I saw a commercial from pledge and went out to buy it. It is supposed to be great for pet hair but does wonders for lint! I am so pleased with this product I recommend it to anyone who wants to get rid of any lint or hair. With just a few strokes, most of the lint goes away, a few more and it's all gone :D. The effort required for using this is minimal, and that is why I like this product. Oh and it only costs 4.99.... I already use the Pledge dry cloths for wiping all the dust off of my dash. http://www.pledge.com/grab-it/ (http://www.pledge.com/grab-it/)

You just have to be careful not to press too hard because I noticed it's not exactly the most durable thing in the world, but it does withstand drops...

I'm NOT knocking the product mentioned, only saying that these work well for a long, long time. I'm NOT knocking the product mentioned, only saying that these work well for a long, long time. Believe me I have tried those, many, many times. It either just did not get my lint out or I had to use a half of one to do an entire seat... Maybe it's because I have a black upholstery so it shows up more :/. Plus the Pledge fabric cleaner is reusable :D so that makes me happy, I don't have to deal with pealing off those layers either. I have wasted plenty of lint rollers on my car without satisfying results :(. If that's what works for you I understand, just trying to show people alternatives... Title: Re: Super easy way to get rid of lint Post by: spreeunit711 on May 09, 2009, 09:25:17 PM I went out and bought the pledge product and it works great. The only thing I would say for the smaller area's it can't get to, use either a lint roller sheet or a small lint remover. But +1 for this product I would recommend it to anyone who has a fabric interior especially black.
