-Purchased during July of 2007 for 16.5K from a local dealer here and basically just wanted another vehicle that already had 100 more hp than my last vehicle (2003 Mitsubishi Galant ES) so I'm still content with this vehicle and continue to have it lightly modified, until I can get another vehicle to beat around town. At that point, who knows maybe another J-series swap.....

new photos added as of 5/11/08. *not the same pics from G7A* HFP kit recently repainted to try to match it closer to the rest of the body....personally it still seems a little lighter than the rest of the body, however not as noticible as before. I can take the car back anytime to add another darker shade of red, no charge, what do you guys think? mod list also updated.

Wow!! You can tell a difference there. That's weird that the lip is lighter than your car though. I would expect it to be the reverse since the HFP kit is newer. Either way, it's not noticeable in the newer pics. I'm sure there's a difference if you look close enough in person, but the shop did a good job blending it.

NVA-AV6 says its still noticible, not like before, but still needs a darker shade, mostly in the front, but the rear is good. as far as on the sides, it'd need a little more. so with that said, that'll all get done again this weekend.

At the time I got it in the body shop, I only got the HFP kit repainted to match the car, almost somewhat close and will not be returning my car at that particular body shop. I'm not sure if it's too late to welcome you but welcome no less, for some reason red on a car seems a bit alluring, well thats what my wife sez anyway
and sometimes I have to agree with her.
Being one of her favorite colors I also owned a honda of that color, couldn't hold on to it very long cause my wife refused to ride or drive in a car that
low.
I miss that car, when I saw your CM it reminded me of my little old red honda.

I appreciate the comment Seth. as far as when i'm gonna be retrofitted, i'll leave that up to Tim to tell us when it'll be ready because I'm not rushing him. because I want it done right, perfect job to complete one of the last mods I'm gonna do to my cars exterior.

well I didn't want to go too overboard since I'm content with the way the car looks already, so I think the retrofit would be a nice finish to it. and which subtle touches are you refering to?

i mean there 's no crazy aero, etc parts. and ive always liked your taste in 5 spoke wheels. the fiberglass grill, fogs, visors, 5zigen wheels and hfp kit all go well together as well the flow of the car.

Haha appreciate the praise bud but I toss names out by color because IDK how your car drives. I call mine Blackout due to the fact that in the movie he destroyed nearly everything around him. My cars no destroyer but Ive gone through a lot of tires, suspension mounts and torn up a lot of other stuff

well before it drives with barely any TQ until it hits 3K rpm which is pretty much like most people experience with any J30 w/AT, but now, it feels like it has more TQ before getting to 3K rpm. It still aint no Juggernaut though. I think Steves car or your car is best suited for that, based on both car and driver.
Good idea for next Squad wide topic.

all I can do about that is guestimate with no dynos to back it up for the moment. and the only other thing I can say about it is that it is signficant enough to notice on the butt dyno though.
