Post by: Blackhawk on March 17, 2009, 09:43:06 AM
Just got this e-mail back from an ad I e-mailed:

Hello there!
I appreciate that you contacted me.First let me say that the Honda Accord EX is available for $5,220.
Probly the cleanest Honda Accord EX for sale anywhere. 2004 (the best year) with only 55K miles.Very rare EX 6-cylinder/6-speed manual. Factory installed OEM body kit, brand new 19" wheels and tires, professionally lowered, AEM cold air intake, the ride is amazing! All options, upgraded floor mats, carbon fiber, Billet shift knob, Alpine CD player, Alpine Type-R component speakers in front and Alpine Type-R 6 x 9's in the rear....to many options to list..
This Accord EX has never had paintwork and needs nothing. One of the best all around driving cars you can buy.If you have been waiting on a real clean enthusiast owned Accord EX you have found it.
A Totally Rust, Corrosion And Flood Free Vehicle.Never been in any accidents.Clear title.
Where are you located?
If you have any further questions please do not hesitate ask
Best Regards

Seems like a ridiculous price for the value of the car.

Here's the original ad:

http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.jsp?c ... make=HONDA (http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.jsp?ct=p&car_id=259670334&dealer_id=63893625&model=ACCORD&style_flag=1&start_year=2003&search_type=both&distance=200&advanced=y&end_year=2007&transmission=Manual&default_sort=priceASC&address=33993&sort_type=priceASC&seller_type=b&make=HONDA)

These were very popular on Craigslist but have now made it onto Autotrader. Be aware!

the fact that he keeps referring to it as "Accord EX" is a red flag.  reads as if its definitely plugged in off of a template.
