Title: Car rental companies Post by: striktlyaccord on June 10, 2013, 12:13:04 AM So without getting into too much detail, does anyone have frequent experience with major car rental chains? Namely, places that rent sportier cars like Mustang, Camaro, Challenger and actually have them in their fleet on a regular basis?

Title: Re: Car rental companies Post by: gargantula99 on June 10, 2013, 03:41:18 PM I was just offered a mustang convertible at hertz in Vancouver. I opted for a jeep compass instead. I didn't want to pay for anything else.

Title: Re: Car rental companies Post by: Accord Euro-R on June 11, 2013, 08:30:35 AM I travel for work and almost exclusively rent from Hertz...best selection, best rewards program. Not the cheapest by far, but definitely the best.
Title: Re: Car rental companies Post by: striktlyaccord on June 11, 2013, 11:55:37 PM I'm willing to splurge. I've called a bunch of places, including Hertz, and I'd really like to have access to a newer American muscle vehicle (Mustang, Camaro, Challenger), but these "Adrenaline Series" cars are pretty hard to come by in all of the locations I've looked into. At most places, the most comparable car they seem to have easier access to are Dodge Chargers. Is this even a sport / muscle car, or just a boat? I need something to make my long travels next week a little more fun on some open road.

Title: Re: Car rental companies Post by: Accord Euro-R on June 12, 2013, 08:11:22 AM Unfortunately unless you are in Florida or Texas, the Adrenaline series can be hard to come by. Sometimes they will have one, but if you reserve you they are supposed to make sure there is one there for you.
I randomly got into a HEMI V8 Challenger on a trip to Omaha, NE once, got a V8 Mustang GT convertible in Chicago, and a few other randoms here and there. Title: Re: Car rental companies Post by: striktlyaccord on July 01, 2013, 10:29:56 PM Had a fun road trip across the country. At first, Hertz graced me with this:
