Title: Steering Wheel leather deterioration Post by: gargantula99 on May 22, 2013, 08:10:45 PM So my the fake "leather" on my steering wheel is falling apart. I guess after 7 years of being man-handled, it's had enough. Any recommendations as to what should be done to remedy the situation? Is replacement my only option?
It's cracked, peeling and dry between say 9:00 o'clock and 3:00 o'clock. So basically the whole upper half. Maybe try a conditioner? It may be too late but worth a shot.
