Car History:
Ashley (my girlfriend who's account this is) bought the car in 2003. I'm soley responsible for the way it is right now. This car was bone stock until 4 months ago because for the last year she's contemplated trading it in. Now that her mind is made up I've gone to work. My name is Derrick by the way. I will be the primary person you will be talking to in the forums.  Ashley likes to read posts, look at other member photos and take our photos so she may be on at times. Ashley's the pic master so I have to get her to resize em before we post. We've got more up our sleeve and since the prime selling season is here I'll be able to balance bills, saving, and mods again. Trying to clean up debt crap and pull some money together to snag a house!

I hear ya on that one Derrick.  Anyway, we should talk about your other mods that I saw you mention in the g7a thread.

You and I've breifly spoken about the dvd/nav unit in the cubby.  Nothing major there just gonna get a Panasonic touch screen unit I found for $750 and use the Honda Bezel.  The headliner and pillars are going to be wrapped in black suede.  My cousin has done his on his 03 Tl-s and it came out perfect.  Then he did it for another guy on acurazine and he said it came out better than his.  So I'm gonna wait til he gets a few more under his belt before he does ours unless I can find a local place that'll do it for cheap.  Probably exactly a year from now when Ashley's done paying off the car it's going to be mine fully. That's when the fun begins because we're gonna be keepin the car as long as possible. Paul and I have been talking about different routes but I think once we get our own spot which should be in the next couple months him and I are gonna buckle down and figure out what I wanna do so that way I can start buying parts and actually have a place to store them.

Most likely. There hasnt been anything new to take pics of. Plus we absolutely hate our camera cuz we dont think the shots come out that good.  We've been looking at better ones but havent been able to bring ourselves to drop that much dough.

Theres always a way to take new pics of your ride. Find a  nice/new background setting and BAM, The Blue Bomber is blowing things up!

Yeah locations, backgrounds, and cleanliness are all not a problem. Camera just sucks....

Believe me, if we could we would!!!

This car is one of my favorite SBP coupes out there, I love how the SBPs on this site seem to be so clean all the time, Keep up the good work, and how do you like your tail lights?  I am very interested in possibly upgraded to them in the future

Thanks, I appreciate it.  I love the tails. Only problem is that when you look at the car from a certain angle while they're on it looks like only one of em is working. No biggie but just kind of deceiving some times.

hey derrick did you install your rear lip yourself?. i need some help installing mine on my 05. the lip doesn't sit flush on the bumper. its too noticeable for my liking.

You're gonna need to get some type of weather striping for it. I know exactly what you mean. I noticed that was the solution for even Toyota on it's lip kit.

how difficult was it to fit those E46 side markers onto the car? trying to decide if i want to do that or TSX mirrors.
