Title: Furniture buying questions Post by: Mike on October 29, 2012, 08:29:57 AM So my better half and I find ourselves faced with having to furnish basically out entire new home. We have beds and TVs lol. Anyone have any advice on company's? Deals for buying everything in one place etc?

When we were looking for a dining room set a few months ago we went there and saw a few nice sets. They also offer a 5 year protection plan that's pretty good too. We ended up getting a set from crate and barrel and spend a whole lot more than what we thought we were going to spend, but the difference in quality was highly evident. Title: Re: Furniture buying questions Post by: timot_one on October 29, 2012, 01:06:53 PM I got some furniture at Jordan's up in Avon. That's a huge store and has a 2nd hand warehouse full of stuff. I know there are other Jordan's stores closer, but this one may be worth the trip.

Why not try to find some good used furniture on craigslist? Unless you have the cash to pay the retail markup on brand new stuff. Also see if any of your family has furniture they don't need. It might take some time to find good deals, but you can't expect to furnish the place overnight!
