There never really seems to be a lot of Northwest guys but lets try to get some sort of squad going around Washington, Oregon, Canada, and maybe Idaho. Post your name and where you're from and I'll add you to the list.

i wish i had a sticker on my car about one of the forums. i was on my way home from work when i saw this white G7A on the highway with HIDs. Dont see many modified G7A's around the NW so were like a rare breed lol.

Ya i've seen a few nice ones around Bellevue and other areas and i always wanna atleast look at their car and take a closer look. Although you do see a lot of G7A's driving around but they're usually driven by old people or some asian mom and they're not well taken care of. It's sad that we're so few up here

Good idea except for the cars that you see when you're driving might be hard. I guess you could through flyers at their windows and get their attention or something of that nature lol

haha saw that same one when i looked around there. its like something from the fast and the furious. hopefully some of those guys manage to come around here. one said theyre from silverdale which is where im at. but ive never seen it around. then again it mightve been a few years ago and they sold it.

Nice. I'm about 20-30 minutes from Everett depending on the conditions but Bremerton would require a ferry ride. if you get stationed in Bremerton then you'll be pretty close to Don

This meet from NW Motoring is kind part of the 2-3 day meet they're doing. It's part cruise/meet/fundraiser, although this meet happens after their fundraiser days. The fundraiser they're doing is the Cancer Research Drive.

i'd say around renton. and just an fyi, i wouldnt speed around here because the cops have really been crackin down on traffic violations. i cant take a nice relaxing drive without seeing atleast one cop on the road and usually i see a speed trap every few days. so just take it easy on the gas unless you like getting pulled over lol

Ok. So I get my tints done at Jay's Tint Shop in Kirkland. For tinting a coupe it's $245. But that's without painting the dot matrix and changing the window sills. He said that since I'm a previous customer, they can do the sills for about $25 for each sill and I think around $100 to paint the dot matrix. Since you don't have the dot matrix, you just need to worry about adding 2 more main windows to the cost and changing the window sills if yours are ceramic. Jay's does really good work and really take care of you. Since they do quality work, it does take about half a day to tint a car and you do need to make an appointment.

since this is a little off topic but is related to the NW. I think we can save some clutter in the threads if we post up the spotted cars in here.

A 7.5gen Satin Silver Sedan which looked like to have flat black OEM wheels. Side windows were tinted dark, probably close to a 35-20% and the rear window had frost tint. It was around 10:45am infront of the Central Market intersection, Poulsbo, WA.

Interesting. I've been seeing quite a few more modded 7th gens around here now. Seen a few with just rims and some that had rims, lip kit, hid's, tints... the works. Maybe some of them will start posting here.

almost missed this lol. we'll see since i work this weekend but im off around 2ish on both days. but my car is down right now (missing bolt on caliper) but its getting fixed soon. the part should be coming in on saturday but the guy at autozone said they usually dont get shipments on weekends. so ill keep ya posted or let me know what you wanna do.

haha sorry i've had school and varsity golf and i was out of town last weekend. we should get a photoshoot together in a few weeks. i wont be her next weekend and i still need to have my sideskirt repaired. hopefully i'll have my tints done this week and i'll have a new look.

alright cool. i think i'll probably be going with 15% all around excluding windshield of course and possibly 15% on the tail lights or maybe lighter. for me, i think tints are completely worth the money you spend on them because of that extra privacy, keeps you cooler, and that aggressive look if you go a little below the limit.

it was something like $245 for all around except windshield and theres no limit on how dark you can go and $100 to change all 4 window sills to felt so they don't scratch. it might have been a little less but i cant remember and i dont remember the warranty situation. i think if it bubbles at all, you can take it back for free. i was possibly gonna go for the tail lights or just buy the film and do it myself.

We would like to add a something new to the regional threads. What we are looking to do is have a Squad leader for each region. The way that we would like to conduct this is to get nominations from the members of each region for who you think the squad leader should be. After this the people nominated will be contacted and asked if they mind taking on the duties of being the squad leader (Basically maintaining the OP, and keeping the member list updated) we have had some squads whose OP has become in active, and this has left the member list unchanged for a period of time. After receiving the nominations and ensuring the nominees are interested we will post a pole in each squad thread and allow everyone to vote.

total cost was $340 because the ceramic window sills had to be changed to felt to prevent scratching. another reason it costed a bit more is because they will do tints that are darker than the legal limit. but i think it was completely worth the money because they came out flawless. i haven't had time to wash the car and take pics but hopefully you'll get to see it at the meet.

it might depend on how many sales are going on. usually the JC Penny garage is pretty open if you go to the top. theres also another part of the same garage thats further down near Nordstrom i think thats usually open at the top. if the weather is nice we could also go to Enatai Beach or some other park. kirkland water front isn't too far either. thats just another idea

i got stuck working a 4 hour shift and wont be off til 2:30pm. and it would take maybe an hour drive to get on the otherside of the water. you guys can continue and meet at 11, or push the time a few hours later. but i still plan to come out after work depending on how many people are still out.

haha oh shit for some reason i thought it was the 9th! maybe im just going crazy with all this school work and no sleep. lol sounds good. might need to change out one of my wheels that got curbed pretty badly today because of some dense fog we had. car slipped in a pothole and hit the curb so i'll have to fix that up haha. that'll also give me time to install the HIDs in my foglights.
