Title: Northwest Check-in Post by: 07CoupeBlue on March 04, 2009, 07:56:16 PM There never really seems to be a lot of Northwest guys but lets try to get some sort of squad going around Washington, Oregon, Canada, and maybe Idaho. Post your name and where you're from and I'll add you to the list.
Washington 07CoupeBlue (Julian) - Bellevue dizzle (Don) - Silverdale another_person (Chris) - Bellevue Oregon status (Alec) - Eugene Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: dizzle on March 05, 2009, 12:38:18 AM i wish i had a sticker on my car about one of the forums. i was on my way home from work when i saw this white G7A on the highway with HIDs. Dont see many modified G7A's around the NW so were like a rare breed lol.
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: 07CoupeBlue on March 05, 2009, 01:06:50 AM Ya i've seen a few nice ones around Bellevue and other areas and i always wanna atleast look at their car and take a closer look. Although you do see a lot of G7A's driving around but they're usually driven by old people or some asian mom and they're not well taken care of. It's sad that we're so few up here
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: dizzle on March 05, 2009, 01:09:21 AM agreed on the old people haha. we should start tagging some cars that look lightly modified
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: 07CoupeBlue on March 05, 2009, 01:31:43 AM Good idea except for the cars that you see when you're driving might be hard. I guess you could through flyers at their windows and get their attention or something of that nature lol
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: dizzle on March 05, 2009, 04:09:43 AM haha i almost thought about following the white G7A to wherever they were goin, but i didnt want them to call the cops on me lol. or we could just keep high-beaming them to pull over
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: 07CoupeBlue on March 05, 2009, 06:43:00 PM that might not work either. and the fact that i dont want any decals on my car doesn't help either. maybe theres more people on cardomain that we could recruit
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: status on March 05, 2009, 07:05:21 PM eugene oregon, thanks dizzle
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: dizzle on March 05, 2009, 08:04:45 PM no problem status, whats your first name? it would be cool to know each other at a first name basis lol.
haha no worries on the decals either. looking on car domain could help us out. Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: status on March 05, 2009, 08:23:46 PM Alec
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: 07CoupeBlue on March 05, 2009, 10:27:27 PM maybe i should register at cardomain and try to recruit some people later
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: dizzle on March 05, 2009, 11:04:39 PM i havent registered on cardomain yet but i did a search and theres a good handful in there from our area. its a good size for a squad too.
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: 07CoupeBlue on March 06, 2009, 12:01:53 AM alright. i'll register some time later and start searching
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: 07CoupeBlue on March 08, 2009, 02:03:17 PM i was looking on cardomain today and i found a few tasteful accords and then this riced out coupe http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2076668 (http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2076668). haha other than that, theres a few nice ones that say theyre in washington
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: dizzle on March 08, 2009, 08:50:45 PM haha saw that same one when i looked around there. its like something from the fast and the furious. hopefully some of those guys manage to come around here. one said theyre from silverdale which is where im at. but ive never seen it around. then again it mightve been a few years ago and they sold it.
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: 07CoupeBlue on March 09, 2009, 10:43:38 PM looks like we're pretty much outta luck with finding modded gen7s around here except for the once in a year spotting
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: JohnnyG123 on March 09, 2009, 10:52:00 PM If things go well i am hoping to get stationed in Bremerton or Everett Washington by winter 2010. How far are you guys from there?

Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: status on April 03, 2009, 10:46:14 AM where at and when?
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: dizzle on April 04, 2009, 12:54:41 AM This meet from NW Motoring is kind part of the 2-3 day meet they're doing. It's part cruise/meet/fundraiser, although this meet happens after their fundraiser days. The fundraiser they're doing is the Cancer Research Drive.

Magnuson Park (website) (http://www.seattle.gov/parks/magnuson/) Address: 7400 Sand Point Way N Time: 12pm Things to consider: You'll probably want to eat before the meet. Bring your camera, friends, car(s), etc! Bring some cash too, we'll have t-shirts, vinyl decals, and other merchandise for sale. Official prices will be announced soon. MISC INFO - The last meets - Our meets ALWAYS have over 300 cars. -3 GTR's -Boosted/SC'd everything -GMC, Dodge, VW, Honda, Saturn, Subaru, Acura, Mitsubishi, Toyota, BMW, Mercedes, Lexus, Infinti, Audi, Ford, Porsche, Lamborghini... you name it. -Vendor Booths -- EAT Motorsports, ICE window tinting, and probably a few more this time, TBA. -Coverage -- The last two meets have been covered by CarDomain, this one should be no different! We will also be trying to get a major Seattle news network to come out to the event. You could get on TV! Please Read and follow these Meet RULES! 1. NO BURNOUTS/REVVING within sight/hearing distance of the park -- Not only do we not want a bad rep, but we want to respect the community that so graciously allows us to have events like this, and doing stupid stuff does not do anyone good. This includes, revving loudly, honking, flybys, etc. (once you're on the freeway, feel free to rev/burn out all you want.... that's between you and the cops) 2. CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELF PLEASE take the extra half second to put garbage in a trash or your car or pocket, and pocket/throw away cigarette butts. That will make a huge difference in how long the crew and I have to stay after everyone leaves to clean up. 3. USE COMMON SENSE No drinking alcohol, horsing around (people put lots of $$$ into cars), being a douchebag, do NOT bash on other NWM members, etc. So come out, see some awesome cars, meet new people, have a great time, and support the best northwest car website around! Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: dizzle on April 05, 2009, 11:33:02 PM we can always do a meet sooner than the one in may
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: 07CoupeBlue on April 06, 2009, 12:12:55 AM ya but i also always like car shows because you get to see so many sweet cars
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: dizzle on April 06, 2009, 03:10:49 PM oh yeah, at the NW Motoring meets, there are a variety of cars and everyone gets along very well. got the imports, exotics, muscle etc.

Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: 07CoupeBlue on April 30, 2009, 01:40:16 AM Can we maybe shoot for something on the 23rd? I'm with my dad that weekend and I'm pretty sure I can do pretty much whatever

Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: dizzle on May 01, 2009, 12:16:09 AM i know XXX Root Beer does a couple shows, and thats where they had the last NW Motoring meet. I'm totally down for that place tho, the burgers were hella good

do you want me to give ya a call when im in tacoma/federal way (30 mins) OR renton (about 20 mins) Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: 07CoupeBlue on May 02, 2009, 03:22:30 AM i'd say around renton. and just an fyi, i wouldnt speed around here because the cops have really been crackin down on traffic violations. i cant take a nice relaxing drive without seeing atleast one cop on the road and usually i see a speed trap every few days. so just take it easy on the gas unless you like getting pulled over lol
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: dizzle on May 16, 2009, 10:52:02 PM hey julian, we still up for the next saturday the 23rd at triple x? im trying to get a couple guys from driveaccord.net to go seeing how theres a couple guys there too.
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: 07CoupeBlue on May 19, 2009, 06:17:57 PM ya i'm still up for it. sounds cool
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: dizzle on May 22, 2009, 01:13:25 AM hey julian, would you be up for pushing back this mini meet to the next day (sunday) around the same time? things kinda popped up but ill still be able to head out if you can only meet up on saturday
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: 07CoupeBlue on May 22, 2009, 07:06:08 PM I actually can't on Sunday because I have baseball. Theres always Monday if that works
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: dizzle on May 22, 2009, 08:18:04 PM we can stay with the original plan of saturday. supposed to head to the speedway on monday.
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: 07CoupeBlue on May 23, 2009, 03:17:32 AM ok cool. which speedway were you going to just out of curiosity?
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: dizzle on May 23, 2009, 09:34:06 AM the bremerton speedway, its like next an old airport runway strip. usually find drag racing, autocross, and a small drift setup.
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: another_person on June 04, 2009, 02:20:00 AM hey guys, let me know when the next meeting is. Hopfully I can make it
oh yea, I'm Chris, and in Bellevue... Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: 07CoupeBlue on June 04, 2009, 07:58:16 PM Nice. Didn't notice you had already posted in here. Welcome to our extremely small squad!
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: dizzle on June 05, 2009, 01:38:04 AM so it looks like the weekend works best. do we want to do another saturday afternoon?
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: another_person on June 05, 2009, 02:04:55 AM either day works for me. Just gotta get my accord back...i'm driving a camry right now :( its STOCK :(
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: dizzle on June 05, 2009, 09:06:11 AM lol i use to drive a stock 95 camry. it sucked cause the paint started fading.
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: 07CoupeBlue on June 06, 2009, 03:35:50 AM another weekend in a few weeks would be good. i have to do a lot of school work right now because its the last few weeks till the end of the year. have any ideas on where you wanna meet up once you get the accord back?
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: dizzle on June 06, 2009, 10:13:51 AM any of you guys been to red mill burger? i heard their food is the shit. its around seattle too so there should be good back drops for photos.
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: another_person on June 06, 2009, 10:21:41 AM In a few weeks would be best for me too... I havn't heard of the red mill though.
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: 07CoupeBlue on June 06, 2009, 05:21:01 PM red mill is awesome. gets pretty crowded though because its a really small place
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: dizzle on June 06, 2009, 05:27:06 PM any other places we might wanna grab a bite to eat and take photos at? id prefer to take photos in a non-busy place. makes it easier to move cars around and what not
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: dizzle on June 18, 2009, 02:01:58 AM so talking to a couple guys on driveaccord.net theyre interested in a meet but no date has been thrown out yet. a couple ideas however was to possibly meet at magnuson park or golden gardens. im thinking making the 18th or 25th would be a good date. its not final but just a suggestion.
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: 07CoupeBlue on June 19, 2009, 01:53:18 AM you're talking about july right? for now those sound like good dates
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: dizzle on June 19, 2009, 01:55:06 AM yeah for july
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: another_person on June 19, 2009, 09:18:44 AM either day in july sounds fine to me
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: dizzle on July 09, 2009, 01:41:49 AM so just curious as to if anyone is still down for the dates. not sure if we'll be able to get guys from driveaccord.net to go (majority of them are 8th gens too) which i dont have a problem with. but they dont seem to communicate well haha. anyways we could meet up at dicks drive in, not sure which one. then cruise to a place to take some photos.
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: another_person on July 09, 2009, 02:07:31 AM i'm still in...my car's not really in great shape for photos though...
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: dizzle on July 09, 2009, 02:14:47 AM how "not in shape" is it? im sure we can get some photos from the good side lol
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: 07CoupeBlue on July 09, 2009, 10:58:47 PM For me it looks like the 18th would be better
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: dizzle on July 10, 2009, 02:30:08 AM so..
When:July 18th (Saturday) **Time undecided** i get off at 2 so itll be kind of like the same time as the last julian Where:Dicks Drive In? (not sure which is the best one but i hear they got some good food lol) Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: 07CoupeBlue on July 10, 2009, 01:08:39 PM sorry guys but I won't be able to make it after getting into a crash last night. details are in my thread in the general discussion section
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: dizzle on July 11, 2009, 12:22:52 AM damn that sucks. hopefully something good could come out of your dilemma
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: 07CoupeBlue on July 11, 2009, 03:00:03 AM Ya hopefully. But so far it's not looking good. We'll have to wait untill charges are pressed
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: 07CoupeBlue on July 15, 2009, 01:06:06 PM If I get this new car soon we could probably still have a meet
![]() Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: 07CoupeBlue on July 15, 2009, 10:54:32 PM Ok. So I get my tints done at Jay's Tint Shop in Kirkland. For tinting a coupe it's $245. But that's without painting the dot matrix and changing the window sills. He said that since I'm a previous customer, they can do the sills for about $25 for each sill and I think around $100 to paint the dot matrix. Since you don't have the dot matrix, you just need to worry about adding 2 more main windows to the cost and changing the window sills if yours are ceramic. Jay's does really good work and really take care of you. Since they do quality work, it does take about half a day to tint a car and you do need to make an appointment.
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: 07CoupeBlue on July 18, 2009, 02:07:21 AM So are you guys up for still meeting this weekend? I pick up the car tomorrow so we could meet after that or on Sunday
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: dizzle on July 18, 2009, 08:38:01 PM I'm down to meet on Sunday. Question is where? lol
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: 07CoupeBlue on July 18, 2009, 09:59:38 PM I don't really know. Do you have any ideas? And what time are you available?
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: dizzle on July 18, 2009, 10:51:11 PM I work from 1030am-230pm.
would you be interested at meeting at the new sonics drive in over in puyallup? 13609 MERIDIAN E, PUYALLUP, WA 98373 Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: 07CoupeBlue on July 19, 2009, 01:18:56 AM I don't think my dad will let me drive out there. How about something like Spud's and then Golden Garden's?
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: dizzle on July 19, 2009, 01:29:43 AM i think spuds would be a good place, but what about the one over on alki beach? could do a shoot with the seattle skyline. just my .02 lol. not sure which place is better. GG sounds like a good place nonetheless
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: 07CoupeBlue on July 19, 2009, 02:42:15 AM Ok the one in Alki sounds good. You should call or text me like 30-35 minutes before you get there because it might take a little longer to get across the water for me since I-90 West is is routed through the express lanes I think.
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: another_person on July 19, 2009, 04:11:56 AM i-90 should be open now, atleast it was when I drove across it earlier...
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: dizzle on July 19, 2009, 11:05:12 AM you gonna come meet up too chris?
if i leave right after work which is 2:30, i could probably get to alki like 3:15-3:30 hopefully. Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: another_person on July 19, 2009, 11:45:46 AM that should probably work for me, but I need to see what I'm doing around then. Julian has my number, so just give me a call/text/whatever around then.
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: dizzle on July 19, 2009, 11:46:55 AM alright sounds good.
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: 07CoupeBlue on July 19, 2009, 01:07:09 PM Ok guys sounds good.
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: 07CoupeBlue on July 21, 2009, 01:05:16 PM If you guys wanna meet up this weekend, there's the Seattle 100 at Pacific Raceways. It is a charity motorcycle racing event and I'll be over there on Saturday
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: dizzle on July 21, 2009, 01:28:33 PM what time does it start/finish? i may stop by after work.
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: 07CoupeBlue on July 21, 2009, 01:33:24 PM The riders start riding at 9 AM and finish at 5 PM. Then awards are from 5 PM to 7 PM
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: dizzle on July 24, 2009, 02:23:35 PM hopefully i can try and come
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: dizzle on July 24, 2009, 02:25:30 PM since this is a little off topic but is related to the NW. I think we can save some clutter in the threads if we post up the spotted cars in here.
Spotted A 7.5gen Satin Silver Sedan which looked like to have flat black OEM wheels. Side windows were tinted dark, probably close to a 35-20% and the rear window had frost tint. It was around 10:45am infront of the Central Market intersection, Poulsbo, WA. Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: 07CoupeBlue on July 25, 2009, 01:35:12 AM Interesting. I've been seeing quite a few more modded 7th gens around here now. Seen a few with just rims and some that had rims, lip kit, hid's, tints... the works. Maybe some of them will start posting here.
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: another_person on July 25, 2009, 09:19:52 AM Spotted a coupe (mostlikely a 7.5) with a drop, aftermarket exhaust, dark tinted windows, and ebay led tail lights driving on 5th ave in down town seattle last night around 8:08
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: dizzle on July 25, 2009, 10:32:18 AM lol whats with all these gen7's popping up out of no where?

Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: 07CoupeBlue on August 14, 2009, 03:41:19 PM Well we'll see when your car gets fixed. Hopefully she'll be better soon
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: dizzle on August 16, 2009, 12:29:42 AM car is still down. im in search of a brake caliper mounting bolt. so this weekend wont do. we can try next sunday since im cruising down to portland on saturday.
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: 07CoupeBlue on August 16, 2009, 04:08:41 AM Ok that sounds good
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: dizzle on August 16, 2009, 11:47:16 PM do we have any ideas for what we wanna do?
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: 07CoupeBlue on August 17, 2009, 03:52:15 AM Not really. We'll have to find something to do and somewhere to take pictures
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: dizzle on August 20, 2009, 01:41:10 AM car is back up. i work from 1030-0230 on sunday this week so if you guys wanna do something, im up for it.
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: 07CoupeBlue on August 21, 2009, 01:56:28 AM I'll check if I have anything I have to do on Sunday and I'll get back to you in a bit.
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: 07CoupeBlue on August 22, 2009, 03:23:09 PM Looks like I'm free tomorrow. We can meet up somewhere and have a photo shoot if you guys are up for it.
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: dizzle on August 23, 2009, 06:10:17 PM sorry its a late response. i didnt check the forum when i got home last night from portland. unfortunately im exhausted from the long driving (got home at 4am.) and having to go to work for 4 hours with 3 hours of sleep. if you guys are up for another weekend, that would be cool.
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: dizzle on September 06, 2009, 01:15:29 AM anyone in the NW still alive? lol
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: 07CoupeBlue on September 08, 2009, 12:03:43 AM haha sorry i've had school and varsity golf and i was out of town last weekend. we should get a photoshoot together in a few weeks. i wont be her next weekend and i still need to have my sideskirt repaired. hopefully i'll have my tints done this week and i'll have a new look.
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: dizzle on September 08, 2009, 12:55:38 AM i hear ya. ill be getting my rear lip and exhaust setup re-done. so a couple weeks sound good. let me know how the tint goes, i kinda wanna get those done soon also.
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: 07CoupeBlue on September 08, 2009, 09:59:05 AM alright cool. i think i'll probably be going with 15% all around excluding windshield of course and possibly 15% on the tail lights or maybe lighter. for me, i think tints are completely worth the money you spend on them because of that extra privacy, keeps you cooler, and that aggressive look if you go a little below the limit.
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: dizzle on September 09, 2009, 01:10:17 AM whats the quote and warranty your getting for your tint?
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: 07CoupeBlue on September 10, 2009, 01:27:06 AM it was something like $245 for all around except windshield and theres no limit on how dark you can go and $100 to change all 4 window sills to felt so they don't scratch. it might have been a little less but i cant remember and i dont remember the warranty situation. i think if it bubbles at all, you can take it back for free. i was possibly gonna go for the tail lights or just buy the film and do it myself.
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: dizzle on September 10, 2009, 01:52:20 AM thats not too bad if its lifetime warranty. i think if your going to use film for your lights, might wanna have the shop do it. i think spray is a lil more easier, thats what i did with mine.
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: 07CoupeBlue on September 10, 2009, 11:47:28 PM i think i might be able to do the lights myself. theyre pretty much just flat so it shouldnt be that bad
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: dizzle on September 23, 2009, 11:31:33 PM hows everyone doin?
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: 07CoupeBlue on September 24, 2009, 01:39:16 AM you up for a photoshoot on sunday maybe?
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: dizzle on September 24, 2009, 03:51:08 PM ill be working this sunday. if your up for next weekend, im down.
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: 07CoupeBlue on September 24, 2009, 10:43:13 PM next weekend im gone for a band competition. i know it sounds retarded but thats because it is lol
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: dizzle on September 25, 2009, 12:05:18 AM lol its cool. only get points if you do percussion haha. jk. maybe sometime next month for sure.
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: 07CoupeBlue on September 25, 2009, 12:14:21 AM ok. we'll get something together this month
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: Mike on September 30, 2009, 12:00:56 PM We would like to add a something new to the regional threads. What we are looking to do is have a Squad leader for each region. The way that we would like to conduct this is to get nominations from the members of each region for who you think the squad leader should be. After this the people nominated will be contacted and asked if they mind taking on the duties of being the squad leader (Basically maintaining the OP, and keeping the member list updated) we have had some squads whose OP has become in active, and this has left the member list unchanged for a period of time. After receiving the nominations and ensuring the nominees are interested we will post a pole in each squad thread and allow everyone to vote.
Please PM nominations, and suggestions to me over the next 7 days. Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: dizzle on October 06, 2009, 12:38:46 AM should we try getting together on the 17th of this month? its a saturday
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: 07CoupeBlue on October 06, 2009, 11:28:44 PM the 17th is my school's homecoming so i'll have a bunch of day activities to do. sorry, maybe the week after that?
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: dizzle on October 07, 2009, 12:06:18 AM yeah, i just got asked to work that saturday. but hopefully next weekend we can get something going on.
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: 07CoupeBlue on October 07, 2009, 12:56:23 AM yeah, i really need a reason to clean my car and get it all pretty. also really need to get some new pics of her so i hope the next weekend will work out
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: dizzle on October 27, 2009, 03:04:13 AM so it looks like the guys over at DA want to get a meet going, and by the looks of it, most of then are Gen8 guys but we can always mingle with other Accord owners.
http://www.driveaccord.net/forums/showt ... hp?t=38270 (http://www.driveaccord.net/forums/showthread.php?t=38270) thats the thread that ive been following on so hopefully after the holidays we can all have a little meet since the holidays sure rob us of money lol Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: 07CoupeBlue on October 27, 2009, 09:35:27 PM sweet. hopefully more people will join in. once we get a final date set i can post it on tsxclub.com too to see if anyone there wants to meet up. i know theres several of them in the seattle/bellevue area since ive seen them around and even met one of the guys when he was just chilling on my street. i hope we can get a good turnout for once. do you know what happened to chris? havent seen him post in a while
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: dizzle on October 28, 2009, 03:49:09 AM if you dont check that thread often, ill be happy to update you on whats up. so far it looks like we might plan the meet for january since the holidays are coming up and money is gonna be tight with everyone most likely, plus we would be spending time with family and what not.
that would be awesome to get a TSX group to meet up. as far as chris, i haven't seen him post up in awhile. but hey i wouldnt mind just getting a couple of us to meet up and shoot some photos lol. why wait so long for that? Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: 07CoupeBlue on October 28, 2009, 11:48:37 PM sounds good to me. i nice photosession would be good since i need to find a reason to clean up my baby. what dates work for you?
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: jobata23 on October 29, 2009, 12:10:20 AM ill be back in portland in a year and a half for good.
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: dizzle on October 29, 2009, 02:21:38 AM Quote from: "jobata23" ill be back in portland in a year and a half for good. is that summer time? lol. me and some of my friends have been making plans to go down there every summer (doing it the past 2 years.) still a feeler since we try and figure out what what to do down there besides the sonics drive in lol Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: jobata23 on October 29, 2009, 08:12:18 AM ^^ ahhaha, but i know there a lot of places to meet in portland. yeah I should be there between summer and fall before it rains! of 2K11
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: dizzle on October 29, 2009, 02:58:26 PM deng 2k11 sounds far from now lol. a new place we went to this year was voo-doo donut but i didnt get a chance to get some. i just wasnt feelin it.
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: jobata23 on October 29, 2009, 07:50:31 PM damn voo doo, they have some awesome donuts. sucks you didnt try it out.
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: dizzle on October 29, 2009, 09:45:00 PM theres always next year lol. i was a bit afraid just cause of where its located (the original one) i thought it was the nicer looking on they showed on the travel channel lol.
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: dizzle on November 13, 2009, 01:09:47 PM so it looks like one of the locations well be meeting up in is the bellevue garages.
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: 07CoupeBlue on November 14, 2009, 01:49:31 AM cool. they have some good potential for pictures. i think itd be really cool if there was graffitti in the garages but sadly the walls are kept clean
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: 07CoupeBlue on November 14, 2009, 01:55:34 AM a good place to eat is Wingdome in Kirkland. probably the best wings i've ever had
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: dizzle on November 15, 2009, 03:40:49 AM cool ill post up in the other forum
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: dizzle on December 22, 2009, 10:07:43 PM so it looks like were gonna be having the meet on the 16th of january. possibly an all day thing or atleast most of the day.
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: 07CoupeBlue on December 23, 2009, 01:47:04 AM cool. so far that looks like a good date for me
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: dizzle on December 26, 2009, 02:30:13 AM alright. how did the tinting go by the way?
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: 07CoupeBlue on December 27, 2009, 02:00:51 AM total cost was $340 because the ceramic window sills had to be changed to felt to prevent scratching. another reason it costed a bit more is because they will do tints that are darker than the legal limit. but i think it was completely worth the money because they came out flawless. i haven't had time to wash the car and take pics but hopefully you'll get to see it at the meet.
i'll also post up about the meet over at tsxclub.com Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: 07CoupeBlue on December 29, 2009, 03:36:15 AM so far i've gotten one guy thats down for the meet
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: dizzle on January 01, 2010, 08:38:20 PM i saw the post lol, tell the guy he doesnt have to worry about "just an accord" meet. anyways, do you know any of the garages in the area that is big enough to accomadate us? i wouldnt say too big but i dont even know who exactly is going. the guys on DA dont exactly seem to take initiative and give out ideas lol. so im just gonna give out the info as soon as i get things squared out.
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: 07CoupeBlue on January 01, 2010, 10:32:24 PM it might depend on how many sales are going on. usually the JC Penny garage is pretty open if you go to the top. theres also another part of the same garage thats further down near Nordstrom i think thats usually open at the top. if the weather is nice we could also go to Enatai Beach or some other park. kirkland water front isn't too far either. thats just another idea
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: dizzle on January 01, 2010, 10:49:18 PM i think well make the initial meeting spot at one of the garages at bellevue square. whats a good time that would be good? i know theres people who are coming a bit far away. maybe be there by 11 or so?
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: 07CoupeBlue on January 02, 2010, 12:49:06 AM that sounds good. anytime around then should be fine
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: dizzle on January 02, 2010, 12:55:16 AM alright ill go ahead and post up more info on DA
so to get more info out; the initial meeting spot will be at bellevue square mall around 11. depending on weather, we can either meet at the very top or just right under where we still have a roof (not sure which garage we will meet on, still getting info since im not from the area). we will probably be there for an hour to get some photos in and gather everyone up. if you got any ideas, now is the time to start throwing them out because its only a couple more weeks away. sound good? Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: 07CoupeBlue on January 02, 2010, 06:00:59 PM sounds good. i think there is only actually 1 small garage that you can go on the very top but im not sure. i think all of the other garages are covered but don't quote me on that. i rarely go to the very top. what other things were people thinking of doing?
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: dizzle on January 02, 2010, 08:25:58 PM alright.
thats the thing, no one really wants to throw out ideas except have a meet. the most general ideas we got is a meet, photoshoot, bite to eat and socialize. Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: 07CoupeBlue on January 03, 2010, 06:07:10 PM i'd say throw out the idea of Wingdom again. its by the kirkland waterfront so we can always take some pics there too
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: dizzle on January 03, 2010, 08:59:29 PM alright sounds good.
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: dizzle on January 08, 2010, 09:04:21 PM i got stuck working a 4 hour shift and wont be off til 2:30pm. and it would take maybe an hour drive to get on the otherside of the water. you guys can continue and meet at 11, or push the time a few hours later. but i still plan to come out after work depending on how many people are still out.
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: 07CoupeBlue on January 09, 2010, 01:00:36 AM not sure if any tsx guys are gonna show up since none of them responded to my thread. it'll be debatable whether i go at 11 or not. i'd say call or text me tomorrow when you get off
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: dizzle on January 09, 2010, 01:03:10 AM meet isnt til next saturday lol. but no doubt ill text ya. if we can meet up with the others, lets just do our thing.
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: 07CoupeBlue on January 09, 2010, 03:11:59 AM haha oh shit for some reason i thought it was the 9th! maybe im just going crazy with all this school work and no sleep. lol sounds good. might need to change out one of my wheels that got curbed pretty badly today because of some dense fog we had. car slipped in a pothole and hit the curb so i'll have to fix that up haha. that'll also give me time to install the HIDs in my foglights.
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: dizzle on January 09, 2010, 11:54:26 AM that mustve been one nasty pot hole you went over. hopefully i can get something on the car done before the meet. like an alarm/remote start/keyless entry haha. shoulda got that done long time ago
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: 07CoupeBlue on January 09, 2010, 03:31:18 PM we should get another meet together in march or april because i should have some coilovers by that time
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: dizzle on January 09, 2010, 06:26:30 PM most def. i know they got a honda tech meet but thats a no-no for me. nothing but a place for people to check your stuff out so they can steal it.
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: 07CoupeBlue on January 10, 2010, 04:39:50 AM ya i'd rather not meet up with any honda tech guys. i dont need anything of mine stolen anytime soon
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: dizzle on March 17, 2010, 03:17:29 AM theres plans for a little get together on april 3 probably around the bellevue area. dont have a time or place yet. its just a toss up date. will put more info asap
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: 07CoupeBlue on March 17, 2010, 05:38:41 PM cool i'll see if i'm available
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: dizzle on March 25, 2010, 12:18:06 AM so it looks like we will be meeting around bellevue square around 3 or earlier. more details to come
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: 07CoupeBlue on March 31, 2010, 11:50:16 PM any updates? is this on a forum?
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: dizzle on April 01, 2010, 12:13:11 AM looks like its gonna get pushed back to next weekend due to the weather. its been pretty bad lately
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: 07CoupeBlue on April 01, 2010, 02:21:11 AM ok that might be better for me anyways. strange it was really nice today but looks like it's going to be raining the rest of the week
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: dizzle on April 01, 2010, 08:39:41 PM today was even weirder. it was all sunny and what not. then all of a sudden, rain and hail storm. then back to being sunny and dry!
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: 07CoupeBlue on April 01, 2010, 09:26:09 PM haha ya there's some weird ass weather patterns going on. did you want me to see if any TSX guys wanted to come out?
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: dizzle on April 01, 2010, 10:05:59 PM sure if you want. this isnt a big meet incase those guys ask lol. its simply just a get together to meet forum members in person, grab a bite to eat, chill etc.
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: 07CoupeBlue on April 01, 2010, 10:50:39 PM ok cool. i'm sure only one or two will even respond to my thread if any
Title: Re: Northwest Check-in Post by: dvlmn on March 02, 2011, 12:56:39 AM i know its old but hell i gotta check in for the NW here.... Everett, Wa ;D
