Title: [Profile] savino76 Post by: savino76 on July 07, 2012, 12:43:12 AM Hey guys,
I have a 2004 Accord Coupe EX I4 5 spd MT. Nighthawk Black. My Dad bought this car brand new in 2004 when I was 12. He bought a Civic in 2011 and sold the Accord to me (at a nice discount). I live in Washington State and love cars. I'm a muscle car guy at heart but I can respect any car that is done right. Love 2003-present Accords! Honda genuine Accessory leather shift knob is my only mod haha. Looking to convert to dual exhuast soon. Any comments and suggestions are welcome. Looking forward to seeng you guys on the forum, Thanks for having me. Title: Re: New Member Post by: gargantula99 on July 07, 2012, 01:06:11 AM Welcome.
The more mods you do to the car, the more chances there are for headaches later. That's my only advice. Lol. Title: Re: [Profile] savino76 Post by: CrackerTeg on July 07, 2012, 10:17:10 AM Nelson, don't scare the newbie away. Its just not cool.
OP, have a look through the profile posting guidelines at the top of the page. Tell us a little more about yourself and your "hwip". One last thing, welcome to the elite. Don't listen to this guy. He doesn't really have any modifications, so he doesn't know jack. What were you thinking about getting for the exhaust? Title: Re: [Profile] savino76 Post by: savino76 on July 07, 2012, 12:45:36 PM I don't want any fancy exhaust set ups like Greddy or magnaflow or anything like that (though they are nice). Definitely no coffee cans. I wonder if I can just hook up a y pipe to the current exhaust and put another stock muffler on it, like the accord V6 set up?
Title: Re: [Profile] savino76 Post by: CrackerTeg on July 07, 2012, 01:05:34 PM Or find yourself a full v6 coupe exhaust (like I did) and throw it on.

That's what she said.Title: Re: [Profile] savino76 Post by: savino76 on July 07, 2012, 05:30:04 PM Or find yourself a full v6 coupe exhaust (like I did) and throw it on. Would I have to adjust anything for the back pressure difference? Title: Re: Re: [Profile] savino76 Post by: CrackerTeg on July 07, 2012, 06:38:56 PM Nope.
