Title: My SRI Post by: Nguyen-er on January 22, 2012, 04:08:52 PM I recently got an intake made for my car over at Jotech Motorsports in Dallas. If I had known that there was already an option out there I would have been better off buying Paul's if I remember correctly. I had the breather hose coming off of the valve cover removed so there is less lines running around and plugged it with a 1/2" K&N Filter. It does have a nicer sound to it than stock. I am pretty pleased with it though.

I may be wrong, since I don't know as much about J Series motors compared to others, but I'm pretty sure you should have the vacuum line from your valve cover to your intake. I understand the philosophy behind cleaning up the engine bay, but I believe it's better to have a vacuum in the valve covers to evacuate blow by gasses more effectively. A good catch can would be a move in the right direction. ;)
