The fuel filter is in the fuel tank, part of the fuel pump. Its really not an item that needs to be changed.

My friend including fuel filter when i was planning the tune up on my car.
ECM proved him wrong once again. i gotta get new friends.

i gotta get new friends.

I think the biggest problem is that some people think they know everything about cars because they built a b series in their civic.  Unfortunately, the k series is different, and even the best mechanics will admit that they don't know everything.  I would just be careful of who you take advice from.

We don't know everything either.  I just pick up stuff here and there by reading a lot and asking questions.
