Title: Royal Purple (ATF and Engine Oil)
Post by: Moessteezy on August 10, 2011, 11:34:45 PM
About this Product:
Max ATF is a synthetic, high-performance, automatic transmission fluid. Its low co-efficient of friction and high film strength help to dramatically reduce heat and wear. Additionally, Max ATF is more oxidation stable than other transmission fluids for longer fluid life.

About this Product:
Royal Purple Motor Oil delivers superior protection and improves performance in four-cycle gasoline and diesel engines. It increases horsepower and torque, saves fuels and reduces heat, wear and emissions. It has unsurpassed oxidation stability that allows for extended oil drains and fewer oil changes, which saves you time and money and reduces the impact on the environment.

^^ any thoughts on these two products?

im going to be doing my oil changes soon and was wondering should i use these two products, thanks.

I'd suggest staying with Honda transmission fluid...

It's early for me to silly. Back on topic the Honda Fluids use some synthetic additives that other fluids do not. They are designed specifically for use in Honda Transmissions.

It has some benefits when compared to other synthetics but, IMO it doesn't justify the tremendous cost.

I've gotta agree with Mike on the RP engine oil.  The cost doesn't really outweigh the benefits.  I still use dino oil with my motor, and it's a bit more "built" than others.

D4 works wonders for the v6 tranny. Maybe it will do the same for yours.
