Title: Ultra Music Festival 2011 (56k do you even exist anymore?) Post by: Accord Euro-R on April 28, 2011, 10:50:12 PM I know we have some techno-heads on here. Went to Miami Music Week & Ultra this year and it was hands down the best 5 days of my LIFE. The pics kinda speak for themselves...enjoy!

I did end up getting to talk to BT for about 20 min at the party, and by far one of the coolest dudes I have ever met; completely down to Earth but also every bit the musical genius I thought he was. He did hint to me that he was working on a project with Skrillex (at which point my pants got a little tight) but he didn't give me any proposed timeline :'(

I met him a few years ago when I was in school (the same school he dropped out of). He got really close with my teacher, so he came to one of my classes. My teacher put me on the spot and made me play one of the pieces I wrote. BT said some nice shit about it, since he was doing a lot of soundscapes for movies at that time.

I would love to go to EDC, but the trip to Ultra cost me almost $900 when everything was said and done...so my budget is about tapped out for the rest of the year.
